A letter to the president by tharris70 ,Apr 05 '05
Pros: A great read, well written Cons: Nothing
My mother has MS so I picked up this book so I could better understand MS and I like Montel. I was really surprised at how much Montel opened up. He shared his feelings, his emotions and secrets. He brings us back to his childhood and shares his battle with racism, to his days in the Armed Services where he knocks down many doors and his relationships.
He goes in depth on MS - when I saw the episode of his show that was discussing this book I thought it would mostly be about legalizing medicinal marijuana. This book is much more than that - although Montel will give you much information on that subject. The information will definitely give you a new outlook on medicinal marijuana. Montel gives a great job on pointing out to the president what is need as far as MS research and medicinal marijuana.
After reading this book, I got a whole new outlook on Montel, MS, medicinal marijuana, and life in whole. I love autobiographies and this one has to be on the top of my list as one of the best.
