How $ 12.50 can build your self-esteem!

by BryRrose Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Oct 21 '00
Pros: It works
Cons: none
My daughter has had some problems with acne. Her self esteem was going down hill and I needed to find a solution for her. We went to our dermatologist and she recommended that we try the products that Clinique offers. I gasped, because I knew how...

Oh Clinique Anti-Acne Concealer, how you complete me so!

by baby_pie , Mar 31 '03
Pros: covers everything, blends well, lasts all day, shine free, amazingly worked at reducing blemishes
Cons: pricey, may be drying for some, thick formula takes practice to blend, not for undereyes
Have you ever been asked that question, "If you could only use one beauty product what would it be?" I have and each time I've answered "foundation". My make-up free face almost always has a couple of spot blemishes, nothing too scary but enough so...

Great at making my face look flawless!

by twobabygirls , May 12 '04
Pros: Great coverage, good at healing while concealing!
Cons: NONE
I have tried almost every "medicated" concealer on the market, and this is by far my favorite. I had a major acne breakout after having my baby, and have had a tendency to break out ever since. (and I am not talking about just a stray little blemish ...

Zits are the Pits, But This Can Help

by rebeckim , Apr 04 '01
Pros: Definitely conceals blemishes, and a little goes a long way
Cons: none
It was my acne problems that led me to the Clinique counter at Dayton's in the first place, and after purchasing their 3-Step system as well as a good foundation, I realized that I needed a concealer because my chin looks like a war zone. The consultant...

Get those off my face

by bellae , Dec 15 '00
Pros: Conceals and heals at the same time
Cons: None
This is a great product. I never had a big problem with acne, but every once in awhile I would get the big red pimples, that stuck out more than anything else on my face. I think we all have those, and we all use concealer to hide it from the rest of...

clinique salicylic acid concealer stick

by tracip , Feb 23 '09
Pros: It's affordable, about $17.50 and it will last 6 months. Blends perfectly all year.
Cons: They discontinued it.
I used to buy the thin pencil type acne blemish concealer stick with salicylic acid by clinique.  I absolutley love this product!!  My face looks flawless when I use it.  I like the 01 shade in the winter which is the lightest one, and the ...

New formulation = NO good
by deidrem ,Jun 22 '07
Pros: Packaging seems less likely to develop a leak.
Cons: Everything else! NOT as effective any more.
This product used to be excellent! I'd used it for over 10 years. I would use it during the day and sometimes even overnight. It made short work of pimples--dried the heck out of them. The last time I went to purchase it (I used to purchase a few at a time and didn't need to buy it for a while), the salesperson told me it had changed. I was devastated, and with good reason. It's now in a pencil-type of packaging and more of a solid. You roll it up, much in the same way as a automatic pencil eyeliner. IMHO, it is not NEARLY as effective as the old formulation--in fact I'm looking for something else to replace it. I won't be purchasing it again. :(
