Pros: Neutralizes redness on contact, soothing relief for sensitive and easily irritated skin types. Cons: Somewhat expensive in price, may not provide all the moisture your skin type also needs.

I'm really impressed
by prairillon ,Mar 01 '09
Pros: Non-greasy Really works against redness, for me, anyway Relieves dryness Minimizes wrinkles Cons: Pricey Goes fast -- takes more than a few drops
My rosacea laid low for years, only showing when I drank alcohol; so, like a good girl, I stopped drinking alcohol and all seemed well. Now, suddenly, everything makes my face go all red -- heat, cold, stress, humidity, spicy food, caffeine, you name it. I started to see bumps, too, and thickened skin. I tried Neutrogena, Oil of Olay... finally, while reviewing their products in order to get the next Clinique Bonus, I saw they have a new "redness relief" line. I'm now using all of it, but am especially impressed with the Daily Relief Cream. Today, it and the mild toner are all I have used and my complexion looks better than it has in months.

Rosacea

Pros: Good moisterizer is essential. Not greasy when rubbed in well. Cons: Price.
I had the same experience as the previous commenter. Rosacea seems to be progressive, aggravated in those with a lot of sun damage. Sun screens with alcohol seem to make it worse. The acne is the most distressing element. Washing dailing with salicylic acid soap and using this cream helps. I found others that worked well too but they are not any cheaper. Got no relief with antibitotics, which used to work.
