Pros: Nine bands and 360 degree detection, lots of features Cons: Somewhat bulky, can produce a false alarm
Summary: Living in a small town like I do has it's advantages: it's quiet and peaceful. However, I have found that the local coppers have nothing better to do that sit at the Wendy's with a radar gun, hoping to catch speeders in order to keep up their ticket ... read more

Pros: Great X, K, Ka, VG-2 detection! GREAT detection distance! Cons: not loud enough, city mode has no audio
Summary: All I have to say about this is SWEET RADAR! I recently had a whistler, and after passing 3 cops within 10 minutes with no signal, I took it back. I heard that Cobra's were the smack, so I decided to try one. I Got this, and within 2 minutes of ... read more

Pros: Relatively cheap price, detects all police 360 degrees, and durable Cons: Needs a louder noise.
Summary: I bought my Cobra ESD-9100 about 2 days ago and it has already saved me of a ticket. I was on the freeway with the Cobra hanging from my windshield only a mere inch above the dashboard. It picked up a police car from behind about and gave me ample time ... read more

Pros: Nice looking; Windshield mounting is good; Good luminated 'icons' as indicators. Cons: can't seem to detect anything from the police.
Summary: I bought this radar 2 weeks ago and tried it on immediately. It didn't give me any warning in the city mode or anywhere else. So I kept testing it in the city, until a few times when I drive on the highway from Waukesha to Madison - a 64-mile drive - My ... read more

Pros: Inexpensive, same features as more expensive detectors, VG-2, 360 deg detection, 9-band Cons: Fuse blows rather easily; luckily fuses are cheap and covered under the Best Buy product replacement plan ($10)
Summary: My brother was concerned about speeding tickets. He had already gotten a speeding ticket for 54 in a 35 zone. Luckily, he got a lawyer to "erase" the ticket for a small fee. Still, he needed to be sure that it would not happen again. ... read more

Pros: Good at rejecting False Alarms Cons: Poor range of audio adjustment
Summary: Tried the Cobra 9100 for about two weeks. The audio at it's highest setting can barely be heard over moderate volume settings on the radio and is completely washed out with the windows open at highway speeds. The default setting is for the audio to be ... read more
