Pros: Inexpensive, carrying case, includes battery and airline adapter. Cons: Virtually no noise-reduction, no auto-off, no instruction/user manual.
I bought my pair of Coby CV-190 for $19.99 at "Pep Boys" Auto store--having always wanted to own a pair of noise-reduction headphones but not wanting to pay the $$$. Unfortunately, with these headphones, 'you get what you pay for.' I was most ...

Pros: single wire from left side, instead of awkward Y connector Cons: poor noise cancelling, basic headphone function didn't work

Cheap and ineffective

Pros: Cheap, comfy Cons: Doesn't significantly reduce outside noise
Bought these for $39.99 at Fry's. Worked OK as basic headphones, comfortable to wear, but didn't cut out much outside noise. I tested them by playing a boombox nearby while trying to listen to a walkman. It cut perhaps 25% of the total outside noise, but that's it.
For what I need, I will get some "ear protection with radio built in" from Wal-Mart for about $40.
