Pros: Easy to setup, spacious, great price and well-made Cons: Zippers could be better. Tough to return to packaged size.
I recently purchased a Redwood, which seemingly is a Sundome 12x10 tent. I currently own another tent, a Eureka Apex 3. I was concerned that a lower level tent (or so I thought) would not perform that well. I couldn't have been more off the ...

Pros: Great Ventilation Cons: None
This tent is great. It is easy to put up, as long as you have someone to help. Tall enough to stand up in. And wide enough for a queen-sized air mattress, large cooler, and most of our gear, with room to move around.
The window and top vents provide...

Pros: Easy to set up It can be done by 1 person. Good for "dry" trips. Cons: Leaks like a faucet. It blows away no matter how you peg it.
I bought this tent a little while ago because I am a camping enthusiast. 2 years ago me a friend and this tent went through one wicked storm in the middle of the night. We ended up very wet and cold. To top things off the pegs that came with this tent ...

Good for Car camping, not for high winds and rain
by skyhigh10 ,Jul 06 '06
Pros: Easy set-up, spacious, well-ventilated. Cons: Not a serious tent for harsh weather.
The Coleman Sundome is a good tent for a family, with plenty of room, good ventilation, and a snap to put up. Even with these positives, it is NOT designed for wind/rain of high intensity. I know- my family was stranded twice by broken fiberglass poles after wind gusts of about 45mph. Good luck!

Great Tent - Great Design
by campers4life ,Jul 09 '06
Pros: Durable Material/Construction
Keeps You Dry
Cons: None
We have camped for many years here in our home state of Colorado and have owned and used many tents. This Coleman 10' X 10' and the smaller 7' X 9' Sun Dome are the two best we have used. This tent has great ventilation as the rain fly provides all the protection from wind/rain as 1/3 of the main tent is netting. You must stake the rain fly down securely. We just spent a week camping in the mountains where it rained on and off the entire week. We stayed dry inside the entire time.
It is easy to erect and take down with two people. You can un-stake the corners and move the whole tent with out taking it down. The center is over 6' tall and design features like flaps over the zippers, small storage nets inside and the heavy, seamless floor material that comes up 8" on the sides.
For the cost this is a great value in a tent.

Perfect tent for two!
by slolar ,Aug 24 '04
Pros: Easy set up, actually fits back into bag. Lots of room! Cons: None so far.
After complaining about our small tent for years, we went out and bought this tent. It was a little larger than we wanted, but it was on sale. I thought for sure this tent would be waaaay too big for just two people and I was dreading cussing and bickering when it came to put it up.
Actually, this tent was easier to set up with two people than our smaller dome tent. Two poles the thread through very easy and have easy clips to attach to the tent. Once you get one pole erected, the tent pretty much sets itself up. The fly is just as easy and simple to attach down. I was also impressed with the ease of folding the tent and getting it back into the original bag. Fit nicely without forcing or stuffing.
Lastly, this tent was just perfect for the two of us, including our gear and a small dressing area (so nice to be able to stand up!). I can't imagine squishing five people into the tent, but could easily see three or a few kids.
