Pros: Lightweight and compact Cons: Flimsy, uncomfortable, small basket, wheels lock up
I got this stroller on a friend's recommendation and am not so happy with it. I was looking for a stroller that I could take on an airplane. I wanted it to be light-weight and to be able to easily fold it into a compact size. I also wanted it to be...
My rural Manitoba location makes it difficult/impossible to test-drive most of the strollers available across the USA. I had read about the Combi Savvy Z extensively on the 'net and it had great owner satisfaction.
Pros: Combi is the best in its class. Cons: Pricey and a measly storage basket.
I swear by my Combi. This is one of the best purchases we have ever made and every new parent/expectant parent should have a good look before deciding on anything else. Combi makes many models in three different categories---Carriage, Travel, and...
Pros: Compact, lightweight, and extremely cool Cons: Price
It's not often that strangers stop you on the street to ask where you bought your stroller, but the Combi Savvy Z (in a snazzy leopard print) inspires that kind of reaction. OK, so it's cool, but is it worth 200 bucks? Let's see…
Pros: Light, easy-to-use, stylish Cons: Small basket, no parent tray
I adore this stroller. We have used it as our main stroller for 10 months now (my daughter is now 15 months). Can't say enough good things but for the purpose of this review I'll try and contain myself LOL.
Pros: Lightweight, very compact, has most of the features of a full size stroller Cons: The seat belt, the tiny basket, flimsy seat, high price tag
The Combi Savvy combines the features of a full size stroller with the convenience of an umbrella stroller. I highly recommend this product to anyone for whom space is at a premium. If you have a small apartment, or even a small trunk, the Combi Savvy is...
Before a friend gave me a Combi Savvy Z as a gift, I thought the high-end, light-weight strollers were a waste of money. My sentiments were based on the fact that I survived my first son's toddler-hood with a $49 Graco stroller (sure...it was hard...
Pros: Only stroller that fits in ALL overhead bins; very light Cons: Doesn't recline all the way for baby
Push handle too low for tall people.
My wife and U vowed that our first baby would not slow us down and our little girl has traveled with us around the world. This baby, at 14 months has been to Seoul, Tokyo, Miami, Tampa, DC, Paris, London (twice), Sydney, Russia and all of Scandinavia....
The Combi Savvy Z is the lightest stroller on the market, at just over seven pounds. It folds up and has a shoulder strap, so that you can sling it over your back in a jaunty manner.
This stroller is ideal for the urban baby, who is pushed...
Pros: Super light, quick 'n' easy fold/unfold, neat canopy pocket, removable front bumper. Cons: Three- (instead of five-) point harness, tiny storage basket.
Do you want a stroller that folds into almost nothing? That you can take out of the trunk with one hand? That unfolds and sets up in about 1.5 seconds? That has a great little pocket behind the canopy for your keys and phone? That is AT LEAST as narrow...
Pros: Lightweight, compact, folds up small, looks cool Cons: Turning is a challenge, brakes constantly lock themselves, basket is way too small
We purchased the Savy Z online, which was a major mistake because we never saw it in person. That is not something I had done before, nor would I do it again. Sure, the Savy Z looks really cool; we purchased it in black and bright lime green and I get...
Pros: A dream to drive, light, compact, quality all the way Cons: brakes must be set to fold and basket empty
With my first child, I bought a big reclining stroller, mid-range, good brand. It was great for my sleeping baby but by the second year or so, it didn't steer well. The heavier she got, the harder is was to steer. It was heavy to fold and lift. The...
Pros: light, comfortable, easy to drive Cons: short handle, small wheels, wiggly, price
I did not buy this stroller for fashion or trend, only for utility. And that is where it shines. I just returned from spending three full days strollering my 18-pound daughter around the streets of downtown San Francisco. This is a torture-test for...
Pros: Lightweight and nice design Cons: Cheaply manufactured and small basket
My husband and I like to travel and wanted to have a stroller that could easily be packed up and go with us. We were hooked by the advertisements and the sheer lack of weight of this model. At only 7-8 lbs., I thought I was in heaven.
Pros: Lightweight, compact, and reliable. Cons: Small basket, not fully reclining.
I LOVE this stroller. I've had mine for about 3 years now. I originally got it when my daughter was 6 months old and we were traveling cross-country by airplane. A friend recommended it because it would fit in the overhead bin and down the narrow...
Pros: Very Stylish, lightwieght, and compact. Cons: Can be hard to open and close.
I have to admit, being a teen mother, the only reason I bought this was because it came in stylish leopard designs.
I mean, hey, if I'm going to be trendy, so is my child!
No really, at first I had a little difficulty figuring how it...
Pros: Weighs less than the average newborn; Folds easily Cons: Slightly wobbly; Small wheels; On the short side
If you think of the Savvy Z as a deluxe umbrella stroller, you will not be disappointed. Compared to other extremely lightweight strollers, it has more perks such as padding, a recline feature, and a canopy. It is the ideal stroller for dashing around on...
Pros: super lightweight, folds up small, maneuvers in small places Cons: pricey, small basket
I really like this stroller. I did a whole lot of researching before spending 200.00, and Im so glad I ended up the with the Combi Savvy Z.
The best thing about this stroller is how light it is. I dont remember exactly how many pounds, but i would...
Pros: lightweight, attractive Cons: flimsy, short handles
I was very happy when I first purchased this product. I loved that it was lightweight and folded so easily. It seemed like the perfect choice for city living. However, I soon was regretting my choice. I found that the stroller handle bars were much...
Pros: lightweight Cons: handle height, recline and basket
Handle is too low, basket not big enough and doesn't recline fully. I purchased this stroller for $200 online and sent it back within two months. A $15 umbrella stroller is a better deal. The handle is too low for me at 5'6", my husband at...
Pros: Lightweight, durable Cons: mechanisms stick after awhile
I needed a lightweight stroller for travel and to carry up lots of stairs, and to stroll from 3 - 7 miles a day in. Although the Combi Savvy Z might not look sturdy enough for that much abuse, it definitely is. Our first one held up a couple of years...
Pros: lightweight, compact, attractive, large canopy, easy to maneuver Cons: waist belt difficult to unfasten
I bought the Combi Savvy Z to replace our first stroller, because I wanted a lighter stroller than the hefty carseat/stroller combination travel system we bought before our daughter was born.
The Savvy Z is much lighter, at 7 pounds. It is also...
Pros: light, compact, easy to fold, great for travel Cons: basket a bit small, price a bit high
This is a fantastic stroller! Our "main" stroller is the Combi Legacy, which is great for around the town, but a bit too heavy and large for travel. We bought the Savvy Z on the internet at a good price, and it's been a wonderful item to have....
Pros: lightweight and easy to use Cons: front wheels occasionally lock up
We live in an apartment in San Francisco and have 28 steps to climb everyday. My decision to purchase the Combi Savvy Z was not only the weight (a mere 7.7lbs!) but also the maneuverability on city sidewalks as well as the compact fold for storage. ...
Pros: Light weight with the comfort of the full-size stroller Cons: can not hang heavy bags on the handle
My wife and I are not tall or big persons, and both of us have back pain from time to time. So when our daughter was too big to fit into the infant carrier, we started to look for a light weight stroller. Our friend recommended this Combi Savvy Z...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to fold, easy maneuver Cons: lightness makes it feel wobbly
Well, I've gone through my share of strollers and I found this one to be perfect! It's lightweight, VERY easy to maneuver in and out of aisles and my favorite feature about this stroller is that with one push of a button, click! it folds and presto,...
Pros: Very light, shoulder strap for carrying, the bar detaches for toddlers, easy to fold/unfold Cons: Expensive, doesn't recline much, small basket
I noticed right after having my son that the lugging of the car seat and the lifting of the stroller in and out of the car was getting to me. So, when he was old enough to sit up I found this Combi Saavy Z stroller. Two of our friends with children had...
Pros: lightweight, good for travel Cons: handles are too short, not very robust
The Combi Savvy Z is very convenient for traveling where its lightweight and compact size are a major bonus. The stroller is also easy to use on the subway (the reason I bought it) and is easy to maneuver in stores and restaurants. That said, the...
Pros: lightweight;drives smoothly; attractive design Cons: footrest way too high; wobbly; does not recline well; expensive; small basket
I had been wanting this stroller in the awesome leopard print for quite some time, so I finally ordered it off the Combi website in the outlet section of the website. (www.combi-intl.com) It is definitely lightweight, weighing only 7 pounds. It drives...
Pros: lightweight, easy to carry and fold Cons: small basket
I researched like crazy for a stroller to buy before by daughter was born. I thought I picked the right one with a high priced Aprica ($279), I HATED it, it was too flimsy and your feet would hit the wheels as you walked with it. Then I heard about the...
Pros: Extremely light-weight Cons: Lacks all the bells and whistles of some similarly priced but heavier strollers
If you're looking for a bus-friendly stroller, consider the Combi Savvy Z. It's extremely light-weight, and, with a little practice, you can close it up for carrying using only one hand -- while holding baby in the other. The stroller comes with a...
Pros: lightweight, reasonably priced, highly manouverable, folds easily,my baby loves it Cons: needs better storage space thats compact for bottles or sodas. hard to find
this is a very good , reasonably priced stroller, savvy to the max , superb manouverability, easy to unfold and fold, and the ear phones are a plus , the cd/mp3player container is ingenius, keeps my baby entertained, the ride is smooth and it is padded...
Pros: Light weight, flight attendants are impressed with its ease of use Cons: Basket is a joke, Fabric tends to fade faster than other strollers I've seen.
We purchased our Combi after having suffered through many stroller nightmares, from mini van types to RV types. All were too big and too much especially since we travel a lot. At the recommendation of a friend I test drove the Combi Savvy with my then 8...
Pros: Light weight, easy opening/ closing. Cons: steering is too hard, the light construction makes for flimsy feeling.
I don't really like this stroller. It is hard to steer, the light weight construction feels flimsy when you try to steer. It makes you "throw your back into it" which makes for a hard trip if it's anymore than a quick one. The lower basket is too small...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to fold, store, use, carry. Great for travel Cons: Basket small, no cup holders, does not fully recline.
I love my Combi. When my son was 4 months old we went to Disney World with the Combi..what a pleasure.
We had long days and he was content in the stroller the whole time. It is so easy to maneuver..unlike the big travel system strollers. We also...
Pros: light, great maneuvering, cleans Cons: can not put any weight in basket on on handle or will flip.
This was one of our best baby purchases. This stroller is not only lightweight but very easy to maneuver thru small places. We purchased this stroller before a 6 week track thru Europe with a 3 yr old and a 10 month old, both children ride in the...
Pros: Lightweight, easy opening, travels great Cons: not much basket room, does not recline
I have had my combi Z for almost 5 years now. When people stop and ask me about, which they always do, I describe it as an expensive umbrella stroller. But it worth every penny. First of all, it will outlast any umbrella stroller on the market....
Pros: light weight, and priced right Cons: not durable for a child over 40 LBS.
This was purchased due to it's light weight. it is about 6 LBS, and is very easy to carry.
I like this stroller because you can carry this with a strap on your shoulder,it also folds very thin, a great product for someone who travels a lot. The...
Pros: folds up small{10 inches wide!},light{7.7lbs}sturdy,several patterns Cons: the price, does not fully recline
i was in need of a compact yet sturdy stroller that would be small enough to be left in my car all the time, through tons of searching i found this
model. it's everything you would need in a compact stroller,a large hood,
a good sized basket...
i really love this stroller.we use it on the airplanes.it works great at the mall too.it steers very well.i get lots of complements on it. i have owned mine for about two years now, and it still works great. i bought the leopard print fabric. i wish it...
Pros: Lightweight and compact. Cons: Combi Customer Service is an answering machine. Product is not durable.
Before buying ANY Combi stroller, I recommend trying to call their customer service department at (800) 992-6624. I have tried to get in touch with them for two days now. All I get is an answering machine saying that everyone is busy, so please leave a...
Savvy Z is a great stroller and worth the money by digitaloz ,Mar 07 '04
Pros: Light weight, excellent quality, lots of features Cons: More expensive than most
The Savvy Z is a great travel stroller. It is very compact when folded up and is very light weight. The construction is solid and it has very nice trim details. While it is more expensive than most umbrella strollers, there is a big difference in the quality of the materials and construction. Even though it is a light weight stroller, it has a canopy, two cup holders, a pouch and a basket. The price of this stroller includes the canopy for blocking sun and rain, so keep that in mind when comparing against the price of the Macleran Volo, for example, where it is an additional $40 item.
Pros: Stable, convenient, light weight, easy to use Cons: Handle is short, doesn't recline all the way.
We bought this stroller when our little one was 7 months now 21 months. We have been to London, Italy, Washington DC, and Southern California. And, the stroller looks brand new. It is lights and fits not only on the overhead compartment on airplanes but also on European trains. The width of the stroller was also a plus on the side streets of Florence and Rome. The sidewalks are extremely narrow and the stroller was just the perfect width for all of them. Also, narrow passages were a breeze with its design. After a long day of walking the stroller worked great as a high chair and fit in the tiniest of restaurants. Along with it being easy to maneuver, and working well in restaurants, it is easy to fold-up at the end of the airline boarding gate and get onto the airplane. If your little one is still in the infant car seat the handle of the car-seat slips over the stroller handle for easy check-in at boarding. The perfect stroller for travel.
