Pros: Great comfort, dual adjustable settings, great price. Cons: none yet.
I was checking into all the normal options in the air bed space due to some back problems that I have experienced over the past 15 years or so. As usual I spent a lot of time looking at most of the alternatives such as Select Comfort, Nautilus, ...
Pros: Comfort. Warranty. Comfort. Ease of assembly. Comfort Cons: Wish I had the Cerenity mattress with another vendor's 5000 pump
After 20 years on our high end Serta, it was time for a new mattress - didn't like the plush/pillow tops that were all we saw in inner-spring mattresses with 10 year warranties. didn't want to have to buy another mattress in 7 years, and felt locked into ...
Pros: mattress is very comfortable when centered. well-made, good price. liked Elixa.com. Cons: hard to stay on top of air bladder. ditch between bladders
Based on reviews, I bought a Comfortaire Cerenity mattress from Elixa.com. I, too, found them extremely helpful and friendly and was pleased to find that the price for an eastern king with visco-elastic pad upgrade was only $849. plus shipping, around ...
Love this mattress! My husband and I were shopping for a new mattress when I stumbled across these air mattresses. Since our old, spring mattress had developed a dip and become uncomfortable in a short time (probably due at least in part to the fact that ...
Pros: Happy backs and restful sleep at a great price! We found an honest merchant. Cons: Noisy pump but since it doesn't get used much, it doesn't matter.
After hearing the propaganda about air mattresses and space age foams, we figured that it might be t ...
Pros: Easy set up. Great customer service. Somewhat comfortable. Cons: Due to being incomplete and pump is broken, mattress is too firm.
Since this mattress came to us incomplete and without the proper supportive foam mattress over the air chambers, and also without the foam topper, this may very well be the reasons for my husband's discomfort. Also, the pump is not working properly. So ...
Pros: Comfortable Cons: Amazingly poor quality and shoddy construction
Not worth the price
This mattress is extremely comfortable, however, it's poor quality and shoddy construction far outweigh the comfort factor. Given the experience I've had in the year and a half I've owned this mattress, I offer the following. If you buy one of these ...
Pros: Easy set up, dual controls, & great replacement for waterbed mattress Cons: None, really. We are happy with it.
We purchased a Cerenity CA King from a dealer we came across at a home show in Jacksonville, FL. My husband was stuck on keeping our waterbed, which I hated. He refused to get a regular mattress, so we compromised on the Cerenity. Although the waterbed ...
Pros: Very Comfortable and good price Cons: No numbers on the IFC (air pump) controls
We were looking for an alternative to traditional mattresses. Had a Simmons for 7 years and a Serta pillow top for 6 years. Both were comfortable for a couple of years and then went rapidly down hill after that with body indentations and multiple ...
Pros: Comfortable. Adjustable. No problems with bed edges or middle of bed sagging. Easy to setup. Cons: Minor. Pump is noisy, no numbers on controllers.
We bought a Cerenity Queen 2 months ago and placed a 2" memory form topper on it and love it. We decided to go with the Cerenity and memory foam topper because of the recommendations that were made online and our past experiences with pillowtop beds. ...
Pros: Total body support with no motion when cats are jumping on and off. Cons: Pump is noisy and support is not uniform from middle of bed to the edge.
I purchase a demo model (lightly used) from Nationwidemattress.com. It was the Cerenity, with the single air bag rather than the dual and with the visco memory foam topper. I bought it because I have severe back pain from, scoliosis in my upper back ...
Pros: Separate firmness adjustment, comfort, price & customer service Cons: Adjustment period/finding proper setting/careful with zipper not heavy duty.
I was interested in the individual firmness settings as my husband likes firmer & I like softer. So I began looking into Select Comfort & Nautilus systems. I was preparing to spend the $$$ for SC & came across Comfortaire systems. I read all the reviews ...
Pros: Comfort, Value, Ability to Get CA King size up the Stairs Cons: Need to be gentle when putting on mattress cover

I decided to finally ditch my full size futon mattress and decided upon this air mattress based upon great reviews here. I called Nationwide Mattress and spoke with David over there, who was very helpful and didn't try to oversell me on anything. So, I ...
Pros: Being able to adjust firmness. Gives very good support. Cons: Miss the number setting that is not on this model.
My husband and I have been looking for a new bed for about a year. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, and chronic pain and never sleep through the night due to pain in my shoulders, neck, and hips. We were sleeping on a very good firm mattress (a really ...

Pros: Super comfortable, much easier on the back and hips, incredible price compared to Sleep Number. Cons: Not as plush as a pillowtop; motor is a bit loud; orange glow from controls.
Less than two years ago, we bought a high-end, pillowtop mattress set, which cost thousands of dollars. It quickly developed the famous (or infamous) indents in the pillow top, making it very hard to sleep on and causing back problems for both of ...
Great Mattress - great sleeping by herders4me ,Sep 13 '03
Pros: Very easy to put the mattress together. Very easy to adjust firmness. Very comfortable. Cons: Haven't found any.
This is the largest online purchase I have ever made. I'm happy to report I'm very, very happy with it.
I purchased the mattress and the optional visco memory foam mattress pad from NationwideMattress.com. Although, I made the complete purchase online, I did call for help about installing the pad after I received the products. The company was extremely friendly and helpful. (The pad goes under the cover.)
From the first night I slept very well and awoke with absolutely NO back pain - the first time in years. I have MS and seldom sleep more than two hours without waking. I am now sleeping 4 to 6 hours at a time before needing to head to the bathroom.
Although, I don't really know about durability at this time, I am very pleased with the construction details.
I selected the 'somewhat soft' option because that's the way I adjusted the mattress and that's the way I like it. Others could certainly adjust the mattress to their own desired firmness.
IT'S SO GOOD WE BOUGHT TWO ! by jlmalone ,Mar 01 '05
Pros: Comfortable-good value-easy to adjust-well made-instruction are easy to understand. Cons: Set up can be a challenge but is nothing to worry about.
We bought a Cerinity model for our house and liked it so much that we bought another one for our summer home. They give both my wife and I relief from hip and back pain due to arthritis. The model we bought has two bladders and no matter how much I move around I don't disturb my wife at all. I have found that I get better sleep and awake much more rested when I sleep on the Cerenity. The people I bought my mattress from (nationwidemattress.com) were very nice and made the purchase process painless. They offered the best price I could find on the internet ($999 including shipping for a king sized). The mattress comes with a pump and the manufacturers suggest that you upgrade to a quieter pump, but it has been our exrerience that we use the pump so seldom that it really doesn't matter which pump you buy. Pros: mattress: very comfortable, easy setup
nationwidemattress.com: arrived in 1 week, linens included in order Cons: really none that I can think of, everything's been great
Purchased a traditional Queen size with single bladder (no pillow top) from nationwidemattress.com about 1 month ago.
The mattress itself has been great - easy to set up. I've adjusted the air levels twice, I like being able to do that depending on what I feel like at the moment. It's been comfortable for two people (haven't had a problem falling between the bladders like others, as I bought a single bladder)
nationwidemattress was fine as well. didn't have much contact with them, as I ordered directly online, knowing exactly what I wanted. At the time I ordered, they included 2 pillows and a full set of linens (including mattress pad) as well. The pillows are very comfortable/fluffy - I was expecting some cheapo junk, but they are actually quite nice. The linens are 200 count - a bit thin, but saved me having to invest in another set. I probably would have liked a bit more contact from nationwide, as I didn't get the email notification that my order had been shipped until the day before my order arrived - however, it did arrive in a week, so that was good.
Pros: Adjusts one both sides Cons: Poorly made does not last.
I bought a dual chamber full size Comfortaire bed about 5 years ago. With in the first year the pump went bad and had to be replaced. Now one of the chambers leaks and has to be pumped up at least twice a night. This not only wakes me up but the noise from the pump wakes up my wife too. A good nights sleep? I don't think so.
Pros: Comfortable when working. Cons: Leaks air. Have to self-diagnose the problem with customer service.
I am on my 3rd pump in the last 4 years, and my 2nd air chamber. This bed leaks air and goes from firm to soft overnight. The digital controls are worthless. Even customer service says they are not intended to gauge the level of air in the mattress, just to allow you to inflate or deflate it. If that was the case, why have a digital control? I spent a lot for this mattress and now have to face getting a new one after only 4 years. I even asked for a prorated refund, and I was told I would have to negotiate that with the retailer.
Pros: easy set-up great sleep. Cons: It takes a few nights to get the right pressure.
I purchased this mattress hoping that it would help give me a pain free nights sleep. The comfortaire gave me the most comfortable sleep that I have had in 10 years or longer. It is a great product at an affordable price.
Where is the serenity in this bed by wildfire68 ,Aug 30 '06
Pros: Easy to assemble Cons: Not as comfortable as led to believe
I don't think its as good as they say. It was easy to put together. They mentioned that the air pump sounds like a hairdryer, try a vacuum cleaner that sounds like its going to take off. Whenever someone in the bed moves, the other side of the bed gets very disturbed. One of the bladders does not keep air, has a slow leak or something, who knows, I already had the pump replaced because the part that holds the hose to the pump broke off. There is no way to tell how much pressure is in the bladders, so if you find a comfortable spot, and happen to lose air or adjust, you won't know where it was. I think that might be remedied by one of the quieter pumps. Even if there is a layer of foam between the bladders and the mattress top, doesn't seem to make any difference. All in all I am not happy with this bed and will probably be getting a different one soon.
