Pros: works just like advertised Cons: shrivels the skin and makes your skin look unattractive
Some time ago, I noticed a bump on my left index finger. After a quick self examination, I determined that the bump was of the wart variety. This was a mildly disturbing discovery as the presence of warts generally means they are gonna be around for...
Pros: It works Cons: takes a while and the closer you get to the head or root of the wart, it will burn.
Compound W really worked to get rid of my planter wart, but it took almost 4 weeks to do it. I used this product 2 times a day for 4 weeks to get rid of the painful planter wart on my toe.
Pros: No Pain, Works Fast, Easily Applied! Cons: None
When I had my schools, I always kept Compound W liquid high up on the shelf for those children who seemed to show up with the contagious type of warts on their hands. These just happened to be children whom I knew were not going to be treated for it at...
Pros: awesome; effective; not to expensive Cons: burns when the wart is almost gone (but of course, it's worth it)
the summer of '07, i noticed a little bump on my left foot. ' it's no big deal, it's just a bug bite ' i said to myself. but as the weeks dragged on, i realized that the little bump would not go away! i wasn't really worried about it, because my flip ...

Pros: Good over the counter fix for common warts Cons: The smell
Boy take it from me, this stuff is GREAT. In fact I'll explain how great as I describe how I foolishly went about dealing with a wart or two before using Compound W
Before I was smart enough to TRY Compound W I had a wart removed in a rather...
Pros: Works if you are patient and remember to apply daily. Cons: Has strong odor and doesn't look nice when skin peels away.
It has been about a year and a half since I have had to deal with a disgusting plantar wart. It seems this same area and spot on my finger is prone to attracting this virus that causes a plantar wart to form. I had tried using ...

Pros: Effective Cons: Strong smell, makes skin peel
Some time ago I was dealing with an annoying and somewhat painful plantar wart. I finally came to the conclusion that ignoring it wasn't going to cut it anymore, and that I needed to to something, because it would hurt when I was running. It was right ...
Pros: Gets rid of unsightly warts, quickly and easily. Cons: Can be a bit painful if applying a second coat after partial wart removal.
The term wart automatically brings to mind something ugly and you want to get rid of it right away. When I first saw that I had a small bump on my finger I paid no attention to it. After a few weeks I noticed that it started to get bigger. One of...
Pros: removes the warts Cons: breaks off, forms hard clumps
A few years back when I began having a problem with warts I purchased a bottle of Compound W so I could hopefully remove them myself without having to go to a doctor.
Compound W did take off the warts... but it was a very lengthy...
I've used this product and it does work - it takes time for it to be effective, you have to apply it CAREFULLY to the skin (it can remove part of the skin!)
It is also expensive!
I can make an alternate suggestion to you - and it...

Pros: None Cons: Pain, irritation, peeling of surounding skin, and the visual distraction of having to have the huge white glob be visible.
When I noticed a wart starting to form just above my ankle I didn't pay much attention to it. The next time I went to the grocery store I did stop at the section where wart removers were displayed. Since I know the brand of Compound W is a widely used...
Compound W bottle contents designed to be not fully useable by muschi30 ,May 06 '08
Pros: it works *but so does every other brand!* Cons: see review.
the manufacturers surely know that the design of their wide mouthed bottle which serves no purpose evaporates the thinning qualities of the ether in the bottle and congeals the salicylic acid that is the active agent that kills warts.
how do i know this?
because i bought another brand with a narrow mouth bottle that has not dried out after many many months of use.
i was astounded at the difference.
i have spent lots of money for replacement bottles of Compound W over the years and almost never because it was used up but because it had dried out (the ether evaporated).
it's not a secret recipe. the brand's product is no different that no-name/generic/lesser known/store brands.
I used TinaMed wart remover sold at Walgreen's. I don't even work for them. Don't believe me? Go ahead keep using CW and wasting $. try TinaMed and you will see.
