Pros: No iron/ironing board! Easier for large, flat items, if you can hang them Cons: Expensive, takes up space, steam is HOT
I bought the Conair Fabric Steamer Deluxe in a great panic of fussing around in preparation for my daughter's wedding; she was bringing her wedding dress here by plane, scrunched up in a little cardboard box (the dress, not my daughter), confident that ...
Pros: Fast, easy, effective, compact Cons: Should have wheel locks so it doesn't roll while using
The only thing I dislike about having to go to work every day is having to worry about looking good! I work in a professional office, so attire DOES matter. I try to plan my outfits the night before and make sure they are cleaned, pressed, and ready, ...
Pros: Steamer shaves time over pressing. Eliminates odors, and works "almost" as well as the cleaners. Cons: Needs better assembly for skirts/pants and a container for the steaming tool while changing garments.
Actually, my whole intent was to simply replace a defective ironing board with a more durable, less expensive and less cumbersome ironing board. After visiting several stores with no luck, I decided to do some research on the net and came across the ...
Pros: Quick to steam....gets the job done faster than ironing! Cons: Handle gets a little hot.
When my daughter gave me this steamer for Christmas, I thought it was going to be pretty useless and just a pain to use. I reluctantly put it together after wrestling with the terrible pamphlet enclosed. All the time - thinking - I owe it to her to at ...
Pros: Works wonderfully on getting rid of wrinkles on all fabric. Cons: This product takes up the same amount of space as an upright vacuum.
If you dislike ironing like I do, this is THE answer! I had doubts on it when I bought it thinking I would still have to go back to ironing, but I have nothing negative to say about this product!

Pros: low cost Cons: Takes a long time to steam and doesn't do a very good job.
Friends recommended a steamer but told me that cheaper models just would not work. Unfortunately, I was swayed by these reviews. I was very disappointed in this steamer. Even with long warm-up, it took a long time to steam out wrinkles and in the end did a poor job. Cheap is cheap. In the end I guess my friends were correct, if you want a professional job and you are going to use it fairly often, it is worth it to get a more expensive professional machine.
I bought this steamer today based on these reviews. I should have known $70 and 'Conair' was a bad sign but I bought one anyway. Bottom line: MAYBE 4" of steam coming out, no power, took 15 mins for a knit polo that still has wrinkles around the edges, (you cant hold the shirt still because you will burn yourself). Im taking it back tomorrow and buying the Jiffy steamer I saw at costco instead.
