Not a Complete Waste of Money

Pros: inexpensive
Cons: terrible heat, velvet plates make hair static.

Horrible!!!

Pros: nothing
Cons: inconsistent heat, flocking plate makes hair full of static.
I bought this straightener and it was horrible. It heats up then cools down again. Then heats up again. The temperature is not consistent. It doesn't do a good job of straightening.
