Pros: Price, performance, customer service Cons: larger drives are avaiable for only a bit more money
I just recently purchased this drive and found it to be an excellent choice for people who want big storage capacity for a relatively small amount of money. On the whole, the unit work quickly and quietly, so I have been very happy with its performance since installing it.
I did have a few problems getting my drive installed (not with the drive, but with my system) which required me to contact the customer support line. The people I spoke to were extremely helpful and made sure I got exactly the help I needed, even over the course of several phone calls.
Overall, I have been very happy with my drive and will not hesitate purchase another product from Western Digital in the future.
