A Little Extra Beef

Pros: Unparalleled climbing traction, very stable and predictable, even at high speeds.
Cons: Definitely not a hardpack tire.
The first time I laid eyes on the Continental Survival Pro was at the 1999 CABDA convention. The Continental booth is always a favorite of mine but the Survival Pro really turned me into a Conti fan for good.

Some good, some bad.

Pros: Big, easy to control over roots, traction in loose conditions, weight.
Cons: Rolling resistance, slippery on rocks.
This tire has a nasty-looking thread pattern, just as open as a tractor tire.
I have used the protection kevlar version as a front tire. The protection version has added protection on the side walls for increased damage protection. I would not use...
