Pros: The ship, the Canal. Cons: Personal Choice dining waitstaff, process of tipping so that it more nearly relates to service.
GENERAL OBSERVATIONS AND EMBARKATION This was our fourth cruise, all on Princess. We made our own airline reservations, but our overnight in LA and transfer to the ship were through Princess. The hotel was adequate, and the transfer to the ship was ...
Pros: Great service, amazing ports, and lots of food temptations. Cons: Luxury comes with a price, and get ripped off at the casino.
Please note: This experience is onboard the Island Princess, while this ship is not on epinions, the Coral Princess is the twin sister of the Island Princess. I was aboard the Island Princess northbound from Vancouver, B.C. to Whittier, Alaska. The ...
Pros: They have everything you could possibly need. Cons: Menu is never changed. They serve the same food every day! Got tired of it.
The Coral Princess cruise is the best anniversary gift I have ever gotten from my husband! We went for our 3rd wedding anniversary. I loved this cruise so much I never wanted to go home! But honestly I got tired of the menu at the dinning room. They had ...
Pros: Food, variety of things to do, great for couples that have different interests, shore excursions Cons: pricey but worth it, not enough time in the day
This was our 4th cruise and second with Princess. This year we did the 10 day Panama Canal last year the 15 day Hawaii cruise on Coral's sister ship Island princess. Cruising is great for my husband and I, he is in his late 30's and I in my mid 40's ...
Pros: Very clean, very entertaining, lots of things to do, wouldn't hesitate to go again! Cons: Nothing!
As a Christmas present, we took a seven day cruise on the Princess Coral. This is the first cruise we had ever taken so we were skeptical about everything we encountered. We went to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and the Princess Cays. The room was ...
Pros: Time well spend for seminars and relaxation on touristic sites. Win win combination. Cons: I really do not have any cons. Everything was organized at perfection.
I was interested on Internet Marketing, and I wanted to learn more. I used to go to seminars, conferences, read all e-Books which I was able to put my hands on. In this state of mind, I heard about one week seminar with 3 Internet Gurus. The subject ...
First Alaskan cruise after two Caribbean trips. TERRIFIC! In so many respects. We went almost 1800 miles, and I'd say at least 90% of the way we were passing snow capped mts., often on both sides. The ride was incredibly smooth, not surprising with the ...
Took the Coral Princess on honeymoon to Alaska. The ship was magnificent. Staff was outstanding. They attended to even the smallest of needs. Room steward knew our names by the first evening sailing. Staff was friendly and very courteous. The food was excellent. Not a bad meal the entire time. This cruise was not only relaxing, but educational. They have a naturlist on board who tells you what you are viewing as you sail through the glaciers. 24 hours of scenery on each day of sailing. Ports of call provided plenty of activities to stay busy. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Coral Princess Ft. Lauderdale Round trip Oct. 31, 2004 by graper ,Feb 19 '05
Pros: Loved Cajun theme restaurant. Italian restaurant not! Dining room menu excellent. Staff very attentive. Cons: Spa services overpriced and only fair. Very few plain massages available-only higher priced treatments
From embarkation through disembarkation we found this one of the best of our ten cruises. We have sailed Royal Carib. (good), Celebrity (overrated), Admiral (long ago), Norwegian (very good) and Carnival (only for young party animals) and Princess is the best reasonably cruise line we have found. The food is excellent and the service is great. There are enough activities to keep you busy, but not so many that you have to be in a mad rush (the whole point of cruising) to enjoy most of them if you choose. The ports of call were good, although the poverty in Belize could be depressing. DO book your own air. You can always buy it cheaper and at the times you want. If possible fly in the day before. A good nights rest and short taxi ride to the pier is a huge plus to the start of your cruise. Taxi to the pier is less than $10.00 for a couple and you avoid another line at the buses. We would definitely go Coral again-next time to Alaska. Bon Voyage!!!
