Pros: Quality sound;Easy to make;Looks great! Cons: Need more connectors for additional cable
The CoreX2 DIY kit includes 20' of sound engineered cable along with hex screw connectors that are precision made for the right tightness (so you don't mess up your cables by over tightening them). The sound engineered cable that I am writing about is rare in connector kits for the most part. Most people think that all cable is the same. Wrong. Most kits contain electronic wire. Big difference than instrument cable.
I use these for connections on my pedal board. I have contacted the company direct in the past for additional connectors and I have been able to successfully get them when they have not been sold by anyone else. I have heard that they are coming out with single packaged connectors soon.
