Pros: Very easy to install, very durable and comfortable for babies Cons: Hard to remove seat cover for cleaning
I purchased this Car seat for my one year old daughter, she loves to ride in it. As soon as we get into the car she is quiet for the entire length of our car trips.
I purchased the Alpha Omega with out the over head bar, and I think it is just as...

Pros: Good value for money, sturdy, quality fabric Cons: The straps get twisted easily, not good for small infants
We purchased two of these Alpha Omega car seats about 5 years ago for our daughter. We're now using them for our 1 1/2 year old son. We did a bunch of research before purchasing the seats and these seemed to be the best value for our money. We ...

Pros: My 19lb 7 month old fits very comfortably, much more so than a carrier seat. Cons: Does not seem to be very secure without the tether.
I really am happy overall with this car seat. My daughter is on the chunky side and she fits very well in this seat. If you have a small vehicle this seat may be difficult to get in and out of the car but once installed should be fine. I prefer to use...

Pros: Sturdy, nice looking, looks comfy for baby. Cons: Price, TOO BULKY, absolutely not for small sized cars.
We have had this carseat for approximately 7 months and it has held up very well. It is very tolerant to stains, easy to wipe off. I like the dark fabric, babies tend to be messy and like to stain fabrics. I like that it has the base to be able to...

Pros: Weight range of 5 - 80 lbs.; rated well by Consumer Reports Cons: Previous model had issues with twisting straps - 2003 does not
I bought this seat 2 years ago when my daughter outgrew her carrier seat in height but not weight. I ...

Pros: Easy to adjust! Cons: The Price?
I'm an Architect (I say this although at this time I am a full time stay-at-home Mom), and so is my husband. We're just suckers for the visually slick.
Our daughter was ready to turn a year old and 20 pounds, so we figured it was time to look...

Pros: Sorry, but I can't think of any. Cons: overhead shield, does too much
First of all, this has an overhead shield, NOT good. I'd much rather this be only offered in a 5 point version, but even that, the seat will be "out of date" before the child is really done using it. This is supposed to be "the only seat...

Pros: Convertible from infant through booster, color, reclining feature Cons: bulky
When my daughter got too big for her infant carseat/carrier, I knew it was time to upgrade.
At first I looked at convertible seats, but then I discovered the Alpha Omega. To me, it seemed to be the logical solution. Sure, it costs more...

Pros: Cost, 5 point harness, easy to adjust Cons: Can be difficult to install rear facing
We bought this carseat after my Son got too big for his last seat. He was still under 22 pounds so I attempted to install it rear facing. Our car has a shoulder belt so it was a pain to install, there was barely enough belt to go through the back of the...

Pros: Options! Only seat you need from start to finish! Ease of use. Cons: BULKY, Fabric gets HOTTER than most seats in sun. PRICE. Needs more padding.
I am a carseat nut. I have 4 kids, 8, 5, 3 and 1. I have been through 20+ carseats. I buy them and don't like them and sell them. The Alpha Omega is one I DESPERATELY wanted. And when I get it I am not as tickled as I thought I would be. The seat looked...

Pros: 5 point harness, 3-in-one carseat, Eddie Bauer 'faux sueded' surface is easy to clean Cons: base is too wide, COSCO's 800 number is impossible to get thru
The base (bottom of car seat) is too wide and nearly impossible to remove if you have bucket seats or small seats.
The back of the Alpha-Omega seat takes up too much room in rear facing position (front seat passengers are squished into the dash...

Pros: First to last carseat... fits good in our car!! Cons: I dont like the patterns!
When my husband got into an accident in our car (not his fault!) we had to replace our carseat. After looking around for a bit...and realizing just how hard it is to find a carseat that we like, fits in our car, AND rear faces to at least 30 pounds for...

Pros: Fits infants to children of 80 pounds Cons: It is a little difficult to get used to buckling in.
I purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega because of the recommendation from other parents. It is a complete gem. It reclines so that my child can sit in three different positions. Also, it has a five point harness so that I know that she will be safe and...

Pros: Durable, easy to use, easy to clean. Cons: Price, twisting of the belts.
I have had this car seat since my child was appox. a year old, and it is still in perfect condition. With other seats that I had in the past for my son, I would either have to purchase the next size up when he hit a certain age/height/weight, or they...

Pros: Easy to use, easily adjustable to different thicknesses of clothing Cons: Straps do twist easily, difficult to position securely in car without the base
I purchased the 5-point harness model of the Alpha Omega.
This is a very easy car seat to use. I especially like the ability to adjust the tension in the straps with one hand - a very important feature with a squirmy baby! Even though they...
