Pros: grows with the child Cons: It took a few times to get use to adjusting the seat's straps
My son was a big baby and grew out of his infant car seat quickly. We shopped for months before he was born and after before deciding on the Alpha Omega. We chose it for the quality brand and the fact that it grows with your child. It will adjust for...

Pros: Very comfortable and easy to adjust and move around. Cons: None really!
When my daughter grew near to growing out of her infant carseat, I knew it was time to start looking for a big girl seat. That is when I came across the Alpha Omega. This carseat is so wonderful. It seats children from 5 pounds all the way up to 80...

Pros: not buying 3 cars seats Cons: big&complicated
I bought this changeable seat because I thought it looked most reliable and of good quality...which it is.But it is very pricey and hard to handle.I have found that the straps get twisted often and it is very hard if you have to switch cars often. When...

Pros: it the only carseat you'll need Cons: shoulder pads are a pain
I Purshased this Carseat in OCT 99' I was looking for something that will recline and looking for something that I CAN USE WHEN HE IS TO BIG FOR A CARSEAT. I really love the seat I have it reclined so when he is sleeping his head won't hang down . the...

Pros: solid, good textures, nice looking Cons: 3 point restrains vs 5, over head shield shielded babies view.
A good seat in general but for little ones under 20 pounds the overhead shield traps them in quite a bit. My baby found it very confining and frustrating. You have to be careful lowering the shield, as active hands can sneak in and get pinched. Our...

Pros: the very easy to follow directions for installation, great looking, very easy to use Cons: honestly we haven't found anything wrong with it yet except maybe too big for some cars,we have a Windstar and it fits perfectly
I have put a lot of time into research for our next carseat purchase,We have 4 kids so we have been through quite a few that were not as great as one would've thought they were.
I decided on the cosco alpha omega because it seems like the best...

Pros: solid Cons: straps twist, not good neck support
We bought this car seat for my then 7 month old. We purchased the five point system, instead of the harness. I now wish we had bought the harness, as the straps of the five point get continually twisted, and can be a pain in the neck. My husband says...

Pros: long use Cons: only comes in grey color
we bought this seat after our baby quickly outgrew the infant seat. We were looking for something that was very safe, comfortable and that we could use for a long time. We're running out of storage space for all the baby things that we aren't using...

Pros: No wasted space. Comfy and versatile. No need for unused seats. Cons: price. Can't afford too many more kids at that price!!!
My favorite thing is not having a whole slew of other carseats that aren't being used in my attic. Just one infant carrier and the rest are being used. The ride is comfortable(seems more comfy than my carseat!) Who has room for storing convertible...

Pros: Great looking seat. Straps do not twist very easily. Cons: Crotch buckle too close.
I looked and looked and looked for a good car seat. I purchased this in March of 2001. I bought this online and when it arrived I was fascinated. I love how you never have to mess with pulling out straps. You just pull on a bar in the back and presto,...

The Best Seat Made!!!!
by joslavik ,Jul 27 '04
Pros: Easy strap adjustment and removal!!!! Cons: NONE!
This is the best car seat I've owned or seen. The straps are extremely easy to adjust and clean. Our son loves it! I recently bought the Graco convertible and I hate it!!! I hope Cosco continues making the alpha omega! For those that complain about the recline in the back seat, it works GREAT if you take the base off!

Cosco Joke
by jenntifer ,Jul 08 '05
Pros: matches interior of car Cons: Twisty Harness. No Recline. Extremely difficult to move between vehicles. Difficult to loosen harness.
Harness twists all the time. No Recline, child has to sit at 90 degree angle, almost bent over on himself. Extremely difficult to move between vehicles! Slices your hand when moving the seatbelt through bottom of seat. Loosening harness is a joke-no room between back of seat and loosening button. I can't wait for the time we can move this seat forward facing to see if it works better. He hates getting strapped in this seat and we hate working with it.

We love this seat!
by blickfold2004 ,Feb 20 '07
Pros: Stout, nice looking, very functional Cons: It's a big seat
With the arrival of our second baby rapidly approaching, we needed to get our older son a new car seat. I was lost, but we decided on this seat. We absolutely love it. We have had it for over a year now and have not had one problem!
I haven't used it for smaller babies, but I have used it rear-facing and there isn't much room for the front seat when it is in that position.
We plan on purchasing another one before our third baby arrives in June. We'll be using an infant carrier until he grows out of that, then we'll switch him over to this model! We absolutely love it!

Alpha Omega, a great seat to grow with your child
by jeningirls ,Jul 23 '04
Pros: The seats are easily adjusted and very comfortable. Cons: They are a bit bulky when rear facing for smaller cars.
We bought one of these car seats when our first daughter outgrew her infant carrier, it was so easy to use and comfortable for her from rear facing at a few months old until now at 3 when she is still loving it. The recline feature made it comfortable for her while she was still learning to sit on her own but as she has grown it has grown with her.
We were in a car accident recently and had to replace our car seats and were able to get both of the girls new car seats and we chose to get them both new Alpha Omegas. These have been great seats for us, and the girls love them too.
