Pros: Very sturdy and well-made seat that fits well in many vehicles Cons: Heavy and takes a lot of space when rear-facing.
I purchased the Alpha Omega for my son when he outgrew his infant carseat. There are several factors that went into my decision to purchase this particular seat. I shopped for quite some time and researched the various aspects of a carseat to see what...

Pros: It does it's job in a crash!! Cons: Straps can get twisted under the padded strap pads.
I purchased the Alpha Omega carseat when my daughter was 9 months old. She was large for her age and it is difficult to find a carseat that be used in a reverse direction for children over 20 lbs in Canada. At that time, the only seat was Cosco's Alpha...

Pros: Lots of padding, 5 point harness, no need to re-thread harness. Cons: Twisty straps, not the last seat you will need(as advertised)
The Cosco Alpha Omega is advertised as "the last car seat you will ever need" if only it were.....The Alpha Omega is 3seats in one.
***Mode #1***
Rear-facing infant seat. To be used for infants to 35lbs in the rear-facing position.(seat...

Pros: 3 car seats in one, high safety ratings, never have to rethread. Cons: Doesn't recline very far for infant setting.
My wife and I were recently shopping at Price Club when we ran across this 3 in 1 car seat from Cosco. Friends and family swore by this car seat so we decided to give it a try.
After getting it home, we inserted the VHS tape that describes...

Pros: "grows" with my child, easy to use, worth the extra money Cons: not compatible for a 2-door vehicle
As a person who LOVES merchandise that "grows" with my child, this car seat appears to be it! When it was time to move up from the infant carrier I was using, I looked at many different car seats. I found the Alpha Omega to be the carseat...

Pros: Comfy for the little one, easy to use for the big ones, classier looking than the cheap ones Cons: Not cheap, doesn't come in adult sizes with vibrating back!
Last month we had to replace my daughter's car seat after we were in a car accident. We'd gotten a lot of great use out of her Evenflo Horizon V, but as she's 2.5 years now, I know we're on our way to the booster seat realm one of these days, so decided...

Pros: Rear facing up to 35# Cons: Not for small infants
My son has grown fast in the last four months. The car seat that they say should last the first year (up to 20 pounds) was quickly becoming too small. My son hadn't hit that 20# marker, but the seat was too small to be comfortable any more. Plus, it...

Pros: Rear-facing to 35 lbs; entire back reinforced for safety Cons: Doesn't do any one feature "well" - sub-standard in each respect.
"This is the only car seat your child will ever need." Maybe...if...
1. If your baby is large to begin with, because the harness won't fit until they are tall enough for their shoulders to be even with or above the lowest harness strap...

Pros: Higher weight limits than others, good material, easy to adjust. Cons: Awful tall in rear facing position(see opinion for "but")
Reason for purchase
When my son turned 6 months, he was outgrowing his Evenflo On-My-Way carseat (my opinion for that listed under the Evenflo Trendsetter stroller), and we were suddenly in the market for a larger car seat. My husband...

Pros: Well thought out and innovative carseat. Cons: None!
I must say that I read the negative opinions on this website about the Alpha Omega and it gave me reservations before my purchase. After my purchase, I would advise any and everyone to dismiss the misinformation about the straps twisting, it not fitting,...

Pros: Very Safe, Only Seat my child will need. Cons: Because the back is so tall, to accamodate a bigger child, when it is rear facing it is a little big and is a little awkward.
After spending month's looking at all the different car seats available, I chose this car seat. The biggest selling point for me was the safety features. It has the five point harness system, which to me, seems to be the safest. I like that there was...

Pros: great features, easy to use adjustments Cons: price, 5-point harness hard to find
After 2 kids, and purchasing our 7th car seat (including the infant seats, convertibles, and booster seats), we found one that does it all.
The Cosco Alpha Omega is set to use from 5 lbs (though I wouldn't recommend using anything other than...

Pros: comfortable, safe, easy to use Cons: big
I have two of these seats. One for my 4 year old that is being used as a booster and the other for my 2 year old that is being used as a toddler seat with the 5 point harness. I really like this seat. Neither one used as an infant seat, I use the...

Pros: Adjusts easily and will be the only seat you ever need to buy Cons: Harness straps twist if you don't put a little starch on them
Cosco has finally realized what every parent is looking for in a car seat, and accomplished it! This seat is very sturdy, soft, and easy to use!
It includes a 3 position recline that is easily adjustable with one hand, even for those with...
