Pros: Good design, lots of features Cons: needs to recline more, tricky install for rear facing
OK,
So we just got back from our second daughter's nine month visit and the doctor told us to get a bigger carseat. Our older daughter was almost 11 months when she grew out of the small carseat, but #2 seems to be on the accelerated plan.

Pros: Only car seat you need to buy Cons: Straps tangle easily, unacceptable seat movement, some parts not well designed.
Recently my wife and I decided to purchase another car seat for our 18 month old daughter. Our only other experience was with a Britax Roundabout, which we love. We decided to try the Alpha Omega seat out as reviews and salespeople generally...

Pros: You don't have to re-thread the belt as the child grows. Cons: It doesn't fit well in small cars and it doesn't recline far enough.
What sold me on this car seat? The fact that you don't have to re-thread the belt as the child grows. The makers have ingeniously designed the back to slide up and down in five different positions (the last one is for use as a booster seat only). As...

Pros: Comfortable and very simple to use Cons: Overhead shield can be problematic
I had to do alot of searching for the perfect carseat, but I am happy to say that I found it and that I wish I had known about this car seat 3 years ago when I had my first baby!
My son was over the 20 pound mark for most rear-facing seats...

Pros: oversized, changes with growing child, neutral colors Cons: doesn't fit in every car, too upright, doesn't protect small infants
When it was time for us to buy a car seat, we specifically went out to get the Cosco Alpha Omega. I had read tons of information about this particular car seat and couldn't wait to get it. I knew it was expensive and I attributed that to the fact that...

Pros: Lightweight, no rethreading, easy strap adjustment Cons: None
I wish I could ride in this car seat! I also wish we had purchased this car seat when my daughter was first born. We decided to purchase another car seat when we bought a second car; my daughter was around nine months old, so we figure we should get...

Pros: Reasonably priced, 5 point harness, convertible Cons: Can't be used as an infant carrier
When my parents came to visit, they wanted to buy some things for the baby. I already had a carseat/stroller combo but knew that wouldn't last forever. I started researching convertible carseat's and was very pleased with reviews of the Cosco Alpha...

Pros: Five point, converts from infant to toddler to booster all in one Cons: difficult to manuver child, can be hard to position correctly
I purchased this carseat recently for my 9 month old 22 lbs. 30" son who had outgrown his infant seat. Concerned about putting him forward facing before the legal age of one year, my husband and I began looking into convertible carseats hoping to...

Pros: one chair to last 7 years, adjustable, easy to install, comfortable Cons: a little big for a 6 month old but, obviously, babies grow quickly!
This is "the one". Yes, I'm one of those parents that researches everything to death and it truly paid off this time around. The Alpha Omega that we bought had NO SHIELD - Epinions doesn't list that seat as a separate option so just take that...

Pros: For versatility, durability, and safety, the Alpha Omega is a great buy. Cons: The Alpha Omega is a bit pricey compared to other infant/toddler seats.
The Cosco Alpha Omega Carseat is an overall great investment. It is extremely comfortable, very safe, and easy to use. My eleven month old son just recently outgrew his infant seat, which we had purchased with his stroller at birth. He was used to the...

Pros: Long life, good padding, good safety features Cons: Straps tangle easily and are hard to untangle
The two main reasons I bought this car seat were because it had a long life and a five-point harness. Virtually all of the safety information I had read said that the five-point harness was clearly the way to go - but I couldn't stand the thought of...

Pros: versatile, comfortable Cons: A little pricey, somewhat bulky
My husband and I wanted a car seat for our 5-month old that would grow with him. Since kids grow very quickly, why spend money on three separate restraint pieces when you can buy the Cosco Alpha Omega instead? We went to Babies R Us and had the sales...

Pros: All-in-one Cons: Pretty big as a rear-facing car seat.
With the vast selection of car seats available, we chose the Alpha Omega because it is designed to be the only car seat that you will need to purchase. (We chose the 5-point harness, recommended by a pediatric nurse who taught a class for new...

Pros: very comfy and convenient Cons: falling apart already
I have mixed views on this car seat. If I would have written this review before yesterday, I would have had only good things to say about it. The idea that you only have to buy one car seat for the duration of your child's need of one is wonderful....

Pros: 3 car seats in one, Easily adjustible, Nice sternum clip Cons: Straps MAY twist.
I have had this car seat for a while and I am (and I plan to continue) really enjoying it. I really shopped around a LOT before buying the seat. Of course, none of that helped until I went to the store and realized that my child hated the seat that I...
