Pros: Designed to last from infancy through elementary school; easy to use and adjust; kid-friendly amenities. Cons: May not fit well in small vehicles in rear-facing position; not as padded as others.
The Cosco Alpha Omega Elite is an exceptional value to parents, because it is one of few car seats that will convert to accommodate your child from birth to elementary school. As more and more states are requiring belt-positioning boosters for children ...
Pros: Fits your child from infant to elementary school age. Cons: Seat is big (make sure it will fit in your car properly).
We are really happy with this carseat. We had an infant seat that we used for our daughter up until she was about 6 months old and then we bought this one for her next car seat. One reason we really liked this in is that it will grow with your child ...
Pros: Easy to use, only seat you will need, fair price Cons: Hard to remove the head support, too wide for a small cars back seat
I bought this seat recently for our 2nd baby. My mother in law bought this seat (a older model) about 4 years ago for her car for our 1st son. She is now using it for our 2nd son and a booster seat for our 1st son in her car. I really liked her seat so ...
Pros: Comfortable, nice fabric, convertible Cons: Hard to install, bad angle, pillow too large
After installation, I am returning it. With a 6" leveler from BRU, and the seat fully reclined I still could not meet the 45 degree angle requirement (came up ~ 10-15 degrees short of level). Part of the fault is my SUV's back seat angle, but having the ...
Pros: Very well padded for comfort. Cons: Recline adjustment very difficult to use, lower harness designed poorly--pinches legs when fastening buckle.
Recently I purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite carseat for my son. I was moving to a new duty station and was having to drive from California to Alabama, so I thought it was only fair to my two year that he get a comfortable seat for this incredibly ...
Pros: inexpensive, comfortable, safe, 5 point harness, roomy, good for several ages. Cons: buckle can be hard to use if you haven't used it before.
We fist bought this car seat because my older son needed a bigger one. However soon after we bought it we found out we were expecting again. We ended up getting the typical infant car seat. But then our baby was born. He was over 11 lbs! Well its safe to ...
Pros: Price, padding Cons: Sometimes the rope sticks
For the price it's a 4 for me. I don't understand what people mean when they say it pinches- I guess they mean that the buckle is pretty strong and if you don't have the buckle in the correct outlet for your child it can be too close and thus pinching the child when you buckle. It has 3 adjustments for the crotch buckle. Take some time to figure out what works for your child.
I DO know what people mean that it sticks. When I pull the adjustment rope it does tend to stick. I don't know why. I'm going to call the company and ask.
I've only used this in forward facing. I do have to sit in the chair and really pull the straps to get it secure. If you are not constantly taking it out of the car that shouldn't be a problem.
I plan on purchasing this for my second child, as the price is good and the seat is safe.
