Fun bed for kids
by tessa615 ,Sep 04 '03
Pros: low to floor, netting on side rails. Cons: Side netting hard to clean, bars under mattress bend if too much weight.
I enjoyed this bed for the kids. They seemed to like it as well.
We had two that were moving to big boy beds, and they took the transition well. It helped to have the same sheets and mattress that they were used too.
The side rails were ok, but the child has to be old enough to really be in a bed like this. I liked that they were netting, in case they rolled over and stuck their faces in them. (he actually did that once!)
The kids liked that they could make their own bed, and enjoyed being able to climb in and out on their own.
The bed was easy to clean because it's all metal, just wipe it down. I did notice that the bars under the bed started to bend when I sat on it...(why did I even try to sit on it?)
Also, the netting was hard to clean, unless you wanted to take off the side bars. Too much trouble for me, so I left them dirty.
