Pros: variety of shades, works well, small enough to carry around Cons: Do not drop on hard floor!
Here I go again with the make-up thing. I blame this site for turning me into a girly girl. I have never tried so much make-up since I joined this site and found all the good reviews on the good products. But I have to say that Cover Girl Pressed ...
Pros: Fragrance Free, Nice color match Cons: Overapplication causes it to cake.
For my summer look, I picked up Covergirl Clean Fragrance Free Pressed Powder. This 11grams of powder comes in a green compact with puff. It cost me $5.99 at Goodys department store a few weeks ago. What Covergirl Says: - Helps keep shine ...
Many years ago I would purchase the Cover Girl® Clean Pressed Powder without a thought but so many other brands have invaded the market that my old trusty compact was turned in for sleeker designs that cost a pretty penny.
Pros: Inexpensive, Good Color Choices, Good Coverage Cons: Little Green Break Out Causing Machine
As a teenager, I was pretty lucky to have the minimal pimple or two. Oddly enough, when I would have one pop up, it was usually centered in the middle of my forehead, or planted firmly on the tip of my nose. I suppose a higher power figured if I was...
I remember way back in junior high that if you didnt have one of these little black or green compact makeup mirrors out on your desk every 20 minutes doing a puff puff touch up on your face, you were considered un-cool, scrubby, and un-girly. I ...
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact Size Cons: Powder Breaks Easily, Smell, Can Appear Caked On After Touch-Ups
The purchase of Cover Girl's Clean Pressed Powder was a trip down memory lane. This was the brand of choice back in my younger days, those of babysitting wages and shopping in stores such as Woolworth’s at the local mall. This particular store...
I can remember when I turned 13 and was finally allowed to wear make-up. I wanted all of it, eyeliner, foundation, eye shadow, and mascara that would take weeks to wear off. Now that I am older (did I really say that?) I tend to be more interested in the...
Pros: a very good powder for the price Cons: doesn't hide pores very well despite their claim
Why did you purchase this product?
I was on a quest for an all-purpose powder. One that would be gentle to my skin, act as a good cover, but remain soft and natural looking. I found this in my supermarket and figured -- "What the...
Pros: Light, many shades, Inexpensive Cons: I have found none
The very first make-up I ever purchased was Cover Girl brand - mind you that was about 20 years ago. While I was a poor teenager and a struggling college student, I continued to purchase the cheapest make-up I could find that gave me the look I wanted....
Pros: great value, clean look, perfect colors Cons: ---
I have been using Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder for a long, long time. I believe it was the first brand I ever started using, and although I have tried out the competitor's once or twice I have always come back to the same powder. I have...
Cover Girl has an incredible line of cosmetics!.....they are high quality at a very low price! They offer many different products and all the latest colors. My favorite Cover Girl item is their pressed powder. I had never used any of their products...
Pros: great colors, many formulas, great for any age Cons: none
I first started using Cover Girl powder back in high school. Over the years I have tried many other products. I always seem to revert back to Cover Girl though. I have done this for several reasons.
Pros: great, clean fresh look Cons: none I can see
First let me tell you that I go no where without makeup. I wear my Make-up from early morning until very late at night. So that is about 18 hour a day.
OK, I am by far ugly but I have the kind of face that you would not want to see if I did...
Pros: The price and the color options Cons: The smell, the powder puff, it cracks
Now I remember why I don’t like this product. Procter & Gamble's Cover Girl is a complete nostalgic trip for me, back into my teen years when I was buying makeup at Woolworth’s. I had this same round mirrored compact with the included powder...
Pros: Looks nice, lasts long and works great Cons: ?
A Cover Girl pressed powder compact is one basic makeup essential that I am never without!
I always own about 3-4 compacts at all times, and keep one in my makeup drawer, one in my purse, one in the downstairs bathroom.... Well, you get the...
I used Cover Girl products when I was a teenager. Like all my make-up, sometimes you need to go back to buying the in-expensive brands and hope that now that you are older, they will work. So, that is what I did.
Pros: Applies nicely, blends easily, wide selection of colors. Cons: Applicator pad tends to get gunky with use, mirror gets a powdery film over time.
I recently switched to Cover Girl Clean pressed powder because the company discontinued my old shade. I now have the powder is the buff beige color. The Cover Girl Clean powder glides easily onto the skin, and it blends nicely.
In the summer, no woman really wants to deal with foundation. It feels icky on your skin and it just melts off when you get hot. So what's a girl to do? Use pressed powder! And Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder is a great choice.
Since I began using make-up, Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powders have always been in my make-up drawers. In fact most of my make-up is made by the Cover Girl brand. In the morning if I put any face make-up on besides eye-make-up, Cover Girl's pressed powder...
Pros: Small size, last a long time, inexpensive, comes with a small convenient puff, contains a mirror, and so much more! Cons: After uses the powder falls to pieces, rubs off easily, I have to reapply often.
Here I sit at my computer typing a list for my trip to Walmart tomorrow. Cover girl pressed powder came across this list. I realized that I hadn't yet wrote an epinion about it. So, I left my list sitting to come and share this wonderful review with all...
Pros: Quick, easy, portable, inexpensive Cons: Doesn't last as long as some high quality (priced) loose powders.
I bought my first compact about 7 years ago. It was mostly because I had just discovered make-up and all my friends used them. The most available and inexpensive was the cover girl clean pressed powder. I didn't really know how to use it and tended to...
Pros: cheap, compact size, appearance of smoother & clearer skin Cons: better powders exist, won't provide miracles
I've been a devoted Cover Girl cosmetics user since some time in middle school (I'm 20 now)--I don't remember exactly when. I've tried a few other products over the years, but always go back to my cheap, little compact.
Pros: You feel you don't have anything on your face Cons: it dries out your skin
When I was first introduced into trying make-up my aunt told me that I should try Cover Girl because most people can wear it with out getting a bad reaction. I tried it and ever since then it is the main thing I wear. I've tried other brands such as...
I have been using this product for well over 3 years now. I originally purchases it because I have the skin that appears to be more of an oil slick than healthy skin. My problem was that my skin always shined and I did not like it.
You say you are looking for a powder that will complete your look and you want it to be natural? Then you have found the perfect product. No need to look any further. If a nice even coverage that doesn't weigh you down is what you are looking for,...
Let me start off by telling you a little story: When I was younger (about 7 or 8 years old), I always used to watch my mom put on her makeup. She would always put on foundation and powder. I hated the fact that she thought she had to put makeup on ...
I have been using Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder ever since I can remember wearing make-up. I used Light in the winter and Medium Light in the summer. As I got older, I got a little pickier about my powder color, and Cover Girl began offering more...
Pros: Cheap cheap cheap and good selection of shades Cons: Oooh the smell! wish it smelled better and lasted longer
Why do women like me pick the cheap cheap makeup instead of letting the family go without groceries, lights, and socks and buying the ultra-expensive super-duper name-brand cosmetics? And then why are we surprised that it doesn't really hold up?
...
Pros: Inexpensive, sheer, light Cons: None! Great product!
When I started wearing make-up (after a make-over as an engagement gift), I decided that I needed to stock up on some basic make-up supplies. I was confronted with the dilema of which brand to purchase, etc.
Pros: cheap Cons: This product is so bad for oily skin, it did not last at all
I have used this powder in my pre-teens going into my teens. I stuck with it cos I though all powders were pretty much the same. Well no. Covergirl is not a bad brand for lip, nails, and eye make-up, but if you want top quality skin makeup, I definately...
Pros: Goes on smooth and flawless, inexpensive, natural looking Cons: dont think it has any that i have found
When I first started wearing makeup many years ago I started with Cover Girl because it seemed to be a popular brand so I thought it must be good. Now 12 years later I am still using Cover Girl pressed powder but for different reasons. It provides a...
I am a regular user of the Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder. When I began wearing makeup, I discovered that even the creme to powder foundations still required a powder to soften the look. I discovered that the Cover Girl Pressed Powder is very...
Cover Girl Seems to be a favourite of teenagers today. Its not a suprise- its inexpensive and easily axcessible at a nearby drug store. But, having used this powder, along with their other products, i can see that i wasn't getting any deal. The quality...
When I first started using makeup, I experimented with a lot of different brands and types of pressed power. I also came across a lot of problems. Some didn't really control shine. Others started to streak orange. Some made me breakout, while some...
Cover girl pressed powder is a must have for my beauty regime. I have been using it for eight years now, and it has never failed me. It is inexpensive, great looking, and reliable.
This makeup comes in a fresh scent resembling noxema, or an...
Pros: Cheap, matched my skin tone, compact Cons: Smells funny, little or no coverage
I decided to try this powder instead of my usual, slightly more expensive powder, and was pretty disappointed. Yes, it is easy-to-use, small & compact, but so are many other powders! Otherwise, there was nothing remarkable about it.
Pros: Wonderful coverage and easy to apply. Cons: Puff attracts dirt and oil, noxema smell(it goes away though)
I have a very fair skin tone which I usually have to apply foundation to my neck to. This compact matched my skin perfectly and was amazed at how quickly it goes on. I am in 8th grade and need a light feeling yet heavy coverage for my oily and...
Pros: lots of colors, evens skin tone out well. Cons: Smells really bad, doesn't give great coverage
First this powder smells bad. It is very Noxzema. I'm glad I didn't waste a lot of money on this product also because it can look orange and cracked instead of smooth. It really is more for people who can't smell, and need to wear foundation even if...
Pros: Price, in a compact. Cons: Chalky, too matte.
I purchased this powder, in an attempt to control shine and make my foundation last longer. It was around $4 and came in a ugly green compact. The product smells, and is very chalky. The puff that comes with this product is useless. It's like an old ...
Pros: Inexpensive. Comes in many shades and formulas. Cons: Doesn't last long on face.
I have been using Cover Girl stuff for a long time. I didn't realize until not long ago (I am 22) that they make cosmetics that work better then this stuff. They have a good range of shades, but the staying power isn't too impressive. I go to the clubs,...
Pros: It goes on smooth and is light Cons: Not really anything
I don't wear a lot of makeup and I do have a lot of problems with my face breaking out. I have to say that Covergirl's pressed powder has helped so much. It has been so great. It dosen't leave the face oily or that so imfamous caked on feeling. I...
Pros: Light weight, smooth, not shiny Cons: a little pricey.
I tried the press powder at a friends house after leaving mine at home. I loved the product, it went on smooth and easy. It was very close to my own skin tone and did not leave that dark ring around the face as most powders do. I am 18 and find this...
Pros: everything - inexpensive, compact, controls the shine Cons: none!
I've been using Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder for about a year now, and I don't have a single complaint. It comes in 12 different shades, so finding one that matches your skin tone is very easy.
Pros: lots of colors, evens skin tone out well. Cons: Smells really bad, doesn't give great coverage
First this powder smells bad. It is very Noxzema. I'm glad I didn't waste a lot of money on this product also because it can look orange and flakey instead of smooth. It really is more for people who can't smell, and need to wear foundation even if...
Pros: Great price, makes skin feel great! Cons: Sponge traps dirt, just purchase cheap replacements.
I have always trusted Cover Girl, so naturally I purchases the cheapest CG powder. This powder works great for me, I am a teenager and I play basketball every day, so naturally my skin is pretty oily. I use this stuff daily after I put on my foundation and I never have breakouts or problems of any kind. This is just a good, simple powder, and I love the price! I know so many other people that love this particular pressed powder and trust the brand as much as I do.
I used to use Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder when I was in middle to high school, mostly because it was difficult to find a powder that went well with Asian skin. I grew out of this stuff once I realized there were other brands of powder to try, and there are definitely better ones out there. The powder cakes too easily, and I never failed to break the casing. Other than that, the product is decent enough, keeping shine at bay and blah blah blah...but why settle for average?
Pros: gives a nice "glow," controls shine, evens skin tone, Cons: dries out skin, doesnt cover major imperfections, smell,
i have sensitive skin, and using the powder really dried me out. after putting this stuff on, my skin would get all cracked. but on those oily days this works well.
the only problem is it comes off easily (but hey, its a powder) and it CAN look dusty and cakey if you put too much on. its not meant for coverage of imperfections, (at least i dont think so) i think its meant to just control oil and even skin tone alittle bit. thats another reason why i didnt like this product, my skin needed A LOT of coverage
and this by itself doesn't cut it.
the smell isnt that pleasant either, but i get used to it. To me it smells like some sort of baby powder or something.
and be careful with the container! i dropped it and the mirror cracked, and the powder fell all over the place... and this happened during class when it fell out of my purse! it was very embarassing.
I'm not sure if this product caused breakouts. it could've been my dry skin that caused them.
