Awful

Pros: It's located right on Woodcleft. Service is nice. Cons: Food is simply bad.
Perhaps things have changed since 2005 when the previous review was written. I ate there two weeks ago with my mother. The baked clams were overcooked and rubbery. My mother's broiled shrimp was overcooked, too. I ordered the fried shrimp basket. The shrimp appeared to come from the frozen food section of the supermarket. How do I know? They were all mysteriously the exact same size and unnaturally flat shape, tasteless, with tasteless breading. The French fries were made from frozen. In Freeport, L.I., I expect to get fresh shrimp. And no respectable restaurant these days serves frozen French fries. You can get better fries at McDonalds. I will never go back, nor will my mother.
