Cons: hard for my mom to connect to the hitch, height adjustment hard to set.

This sweeper is great for the pine needles and Gumballs in the lawn... however, the hitch attachment is very difficult for my mom to attach. If there were a ball hitch or something more simple to use, that would be very helpful.

Also, the elevation handle always slides a bit, my mom can't apply enough force to tighten the locking piece - so even though she sets it at an appropriate height, by the end of her first load it has fallen down. Again, if they had an easier method for managing the height, that would also be helpful.

It works great for me, I'm in my 30's, My mom is in her early late 50's and has a tough time with it.
