Pros: Excellent product. Long battery life, even with continual use. Great price/performance.
Cons: Four batteries died at the same time, on same day around 2 years after purchase.

I bought two of these around 2 years ago, I've been very satisfied until a few days ago. All 4 batteries went bad at the same time, on the same day. They were all good the day before. I use NiCad best practices, like discharging before recharging, etc.

I took one battery apart and found 3 dead cells. I'd like to know if this was a fluke, or if it was planned obsolescence.
