I was ready to trade up for a John Deere

Pros: Bags are easy to access once full. Cons: Craftsmanship was horrible. Expensive. I wonder how much it cost them to make it. $50?
I had high hopes for this Craftsman item. I spent several weeks wondering if it would be worth the money to purchase a bagger. I finally took the plunge; however, I chose to use a popular online auction to save a few bucks. Shipping was quick, the price was a lot more sensible than what Craftsman wants to charge. Long story short. The craftsmanship was horrible on the metal frame that connects to the back of the tractor. It took me 90 minutes of cutting, bending, grinding, and swearing to get it to fit. When the frame finally went on, I continued to curse the Craftsman quality control department as I struggled to put the hard bags together. It took a while, but eventually went together. Once it was on the tractor it worked pretty well. I thought the leaves would have been more "chopped up", but for some reason the last two bags to be filled left the leaves in an unshredded condition. Maybe I need to mulch them and then bag them. At any rate, the bags fill up quickly.
