Pros: Loads of different activities making each game "new."
Cons: Young teens and older; team play only. But that's not necessarily a "bad thing."
Following a family barbecue one evening, our oldest daughter courageously brought out a new game for the gang to play --Cranium. She’s never been a person who gets in a rut, and loves to try new things. Our four adult children (25 to 32) and...

by molelover , Mar 25 '04
Pros: Entertaining, easy to learn game
Cons: needs four players and not that suitable for children
I’ve just returned from one of my regular girly-weekend meets. Once every couple of months the four of us get together and spend a night with a few (ok, 4 or 5) bottles of wine, crisps and dip, penny sweets and the obligatory board game. The board game ...

by SimonCook , Feb 06 '02
Pros: A very good game that appeals to all of the family.
Cons: The game can be one sided-can win it in 9 questions.
In an attempt to stimulate some ‘Quality Time’ for the family we decided to purchase several board games for Christmas. One was a Harry Potter Cluedo clone (will review this another day), the other was Cranium.

Cranium combines elements of...

A game to pull families back together

by quitesimply , Apr 10 '08
Pros: Manages to bring the family together. Diverse range of questions, requiring many different talents.
Cons: Perhaps too difficult for young children - will have to buy expansion packs.
Note – I bought this game a few years ago, so the game may have changed slightly in newer versions, but form what I have seen of the game in stores it looks to be essentially the same. I noted in a recent review on a Harry Potter game that ...

Mind-Boggling Fun

by lizzamay , Mar 29 '07
Pros: You get to flex your acting muscles and be smart in the same game.
Cons: Random disappointing minutia; nothing that can't be tweaked! Also, will be hard for kids.
