Pros: Perfect size for travel, non-toxic, the Crayola name. Cons: No sharpener, box wears out, the addition of tickle me pink.
Rehashing my youth, I sat down on the patio yesterday, enjoyed some sun and spent some time with my brood. No Legos were involved [shocking isnt it], just the simple, fun and entertaining practice of breaking in some new crayons. Yes, ...
Pros: Good variety of colors, nice quality crayons. Cons: No built in crayon sharpener like the 64 color box.
For as long as anyone can remember children have drawn pictures and colored them in some manner or other. A majority of us associates this activity with paper and a crayon, and those of use who see it that way would name the crayon as a Crayola. This ...
It’s almost time for school to start again and we just bought our daughter’s school supplies. She was required to have a 24 count box of Crayola crayons and for some reason that was the kind she had to have. That was fine with me though because ...
Pros: Cheap price; high quality crayons; kids love a fresh box. Cons: Easily breakable; limited color choices when compared to the bigger boxes.
Just a few weeks ago, my kids went back to school (Hurray!). So that meant lots of back-to-school shopping for basic supplies like paper, pencils, backpacks, and of course crayons. While my older two high school aged kids no longer require these staple ...
Pros: *Beautiful colors *Inexpensive *Fun and creative Cons: *No built in sharpener
Growing up the best gift I could receive was a brand new box of crayons. I loved to color as a child and just loved the nice sharp point of new crayons and even the smell of a new box just delighted me. I guess for this reason I really love to ...
Pros: Glide over paper smoothly, color goes on evenly, AHHH - the smell of new crayons! Cons: They still break, but it's cheap to replace that thrill of the new!
I never thought I’d be inspired to write an opinion about a product as mundane as crayons, until I bought my son a box of some no name brand. In a word, YUCK! These things were simply colored sticks of wax. They didn’t glide over the paper evenly, and...
Pros: box easy to handle, true colors, trusted name Cons: none
Guess what?!! This year begins the joy of having two childen in the lower elementary grades. Now I get the joy of buying 2 complete sets of school supplies, like paper, pencils and of course crayons.
Pros: Smooth, rich color from a well trusted brand. Cons: These crayons need a sturdier box.
Having three kids, we go through A LOT of crayons. We have had generic crayons and name brand crayons but so far the best are the original Crayola crayons. The colors are smooth and rich when used on most paper. We enjoy the selection of colors in each box and are thrilled to see a new color or fun new name. On the downside though, I do recommend that you avoid the washable kind as they can become like paint when the kiddos get them wet. Our bathroom wall (and our cat) looked as though Picasso arose and found a new canvas. These crayons are a definite staple in the school box, packed for a trip, or just for stash of art supplies at home.
Mom where's the Crayolas? by ilovemarykay ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: Variety of colors. Brightness. Ease of carrying along to appointments, on trips. Cons: Box breaks. The box is hard for kids to get the crayons in and close.
Has Crayola not always been around? Crayola has the colors. They have the brightness. Crayola is a trusted name. Non-toxic. I just wish the boxes were sturdier and had a sharpener. You can not get the same colors out of other crayon brands as you can crayola.
