Poor Customer Care Service from Creative Company
by creative_care ,Nov 27 '06
Pros: The bass is quite normal and treble is normal. Cons: Easily damaged electronic components and malfunction/distorted driver.
Creative has easy damaged subwoofer. 1 year warranty and yet the price is quoted very high.
During the warranty period, replacement of this product was returned with a poorer quality or sub-standard quality subwoofer.
Speaker driver produces distortion and working badly for only the 50% of the volume limits. Easily damaged electronic components (1st damage) and replaced with a new subwoofer which has malfunction/distorted driver (2nd damage) for less than 3 months.

Common Fault
by aussiestockman ,Dec 07 '07
Pros: Nothing sounds better on a pc Cons: Unreliable and poor warranty back-up
After 6 months faithful service the subwoofer unit blew a fuse, replaced the fuse and it blew again. Try a google on 'creative S750 blowing fuses' and you will discover a lot of people with the same problem.
Contacted Creative and currently waiting for a replacement subwoofer unit......don't hold your breath, I've been waiting 5 weeks. Creative say there is nil stock and no delivery date in sight.
Having said all that, it's a great system and you won't hear any better....such a shame.

Don't waste your hard earned money!
by poodoodles ,May 16 '09
Pros: Sounds great when it works Cons: Creative no longer supports any components on the S750
Wish I would have read the hundreds of negative reviews on this set of speakers before dishing out close to $400 for the system. Most of us don't realize that it was manufactured long ago and Creative has ceased carrying extra parts for it should something happen the day after your warranty runs out. And believe me, there are very few owners out there that haven't had issues one way or another. The real kicker is that Creative continues to sell this old stock and do not tell you, of course, this little tidbit of valuable fact. If it's not the pod, it's the subwoofer's main control card or that pesky little fuse that will continuously blow for one reason or another. Please, save yourself some frustration and look for a sound system that has more positive ratings than negative ones.
