The creative is much better than the equivalent iPod, and there is a big difference. The creative is much better. However I have to confess the iPod has never gone wrong, where as at one point the Zen froze and I had to let it run out of its power source before switching it back on. It got hotter than ever, but after an hour it was fine. I would recommend the Creative Zen Photo Sleek 20GB because it fulfils my every expectation. The sound quality is ten times better than rivals, and it certainly is value for money. It still has the looks but also has durability, where as the iPod is very fragile, and has been times where the screen has cracked. You also get a year’s manufactures warranty which assures peace of mind.

Pros: - 20GB storage - FM tuner - stylish case
Cons: - Interface of accompanying software is a bit clunky, but completely workable

For the price, this is an excellent deal. If you don't need or want photo capability, but want a large-capacity MP3 player, this is an excellent choice. With the wrap-around aluminum case, styling is much nicer than some other Creative offerings.

One quirk (I don't think it's serious enough to call it a "con") is that the USB cable is needed in addition to the power cable to charge the battery (built-in Lithium battery). If one always charges at home, this is inconsequential, but travelers who will need to charge the battery on the road will possibly find this a nuisance.

Device interface is easy to use.

I think it's a good product. It took a little getting used too as far as the touch pad. Sounds great, I have about 900 songs and only used about 4 gigs.

Just purchased it, great audio as expected, superb features for the price, as expected.

Sadly, left channel went silent within the first hour of use. apparently Creative has not figured out a way to firmly solder the audio jack to the board, touching the audio connector causes the audio to go out on the left ear.

this is a known problem on the earlier models. Sadly, the item is going back today.
