by jkafer Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Apr 09 '06
Pros: Excellent sound, small form factor, uses only 1 battery, works with Audible and DRM WMAs
Cons: only 128 Megs of storage, no readout whatsoever
The early days of MP3 players had memory based storage. It wasn't until a little later that the iPod and it's hard drive solution took over the market. The Creative Labs Nomad MuVo 128 MB MP3 Player is an early example of the memory based ...

Great technology, if just a bit pricey.

by gottleib , Aug 17 '04
Pros: Small & very light. Good battery life. No drivers needed in XP. Good playback.
Cons: Flimsy, no display, navigation, no radio, earbuds, pricey.
Pros: Small & very light - This player weighs only 1.38 oz with the battery which makes it wonderful for running or even hiking where every ounce counts! I have taken mine on a hiking trip to NC and loved it. Also, I have placed the earbuds underneath ...

The Creative Labs Nomad Muvo holds a skimpy, in todays world, 128Mb on in its little... device but it is more then an Mp3 player as it can also be used as a digital storage device. There the sound quality is good, not 10/10 but good and there is no ...

Lacklustre MP3 player with NO LCD

by funkbuddy , Dec 16 '02
Pros: Small, simplistic, excellent sound, doubles as portable storage for any type of file.
Cons: No lcd, bare-bones controls.
After weeks of researching mp3 players, I finally purchased a MuVo, but eventually decided to take it back.

THE GOOD: The size of unit was pretty decent and I liked the no-cable approach - just plug it into your usb directly. It acts as a...

The perfect product for my needs

by dj_chiro , Apr 03 '03
Pros: Super compact! No moving parts, no adapters needed, fast file transfers, great for exercisers!
Cons: Volume is still low for my taste, earbuds are a little odd fitting.
Let me start out by saying I think the Creative Nomad Muvo is an excellent product. There isn't much competition out there for an mp3 player at this level. Try and find a cheap mp3 player that can hold a decent amount of files and what to you find???...

Nice compact device, with ID3 tag Display

by rib18 , Feb 13 '05
Pros: Size, sound quality, uses AAA Battery instead of built in rechargeable, ID3 tag display.
Cons: Shuffle mode gets screwed up when you turn it off.
I bought this unit about a year and a half ago, mostly based on Signal to noise ration (S/N > 90dB) and price. Creative are a well known brand that has been doing digital audio for quite a number of years now, and therefore I had reasonably high ...
