Pros: Feel great on my feet, easy to clean Cons: A little pricey but worth it.
My first pair of Crocs were actually the Beach Crocs, so I decided with the rainy and cold season about to hit Texas, I should purchase a pair that was closed in and that is how I came across the Crocs Aspen. I had been hearing ...
Pros: The most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet Cons: A tad pricey perhaps
My introduction to Crocs footwear One fine fall day at the hockey shop, we received a box of rather unattractive shoes that I suspected were sent to us in error. They appeared to be gardening clogs. I asked the owner’s wife (a woman notorious for ...
Pros: Ultra-lightweight, fits my feet like no other shoe has, tons of colors, affordable at $40.00 Cons: Can become slippery as sole wears, not great for rainy weather.
----- What so great about Crocs? ----- Crocs are a rather recent phenomenon in the Midwest, having only taken off in the last year or so. I'm proud to say I'm an early adopter and one of the first people to get a pair of Crocs in Northern ...
Pros: Comfort, available sizes and colors, price Cons: Traction over time, causes sweaty feet
The Crocs Aspen Shoe has to be one of the most uniquely comfortable shoe/sandals I have ever seen. I was actually quite skeptical of the shoe when I first saw and heard about them. I first learned about them from a co-worker, at the hospital, when I ...
Pros: Increased arch support and over-all comfort Cons: slippery in the snow when traction runs down
When browsing through the mall one day I happened to stumble across a large shelf rainbowed with crocs of all sizes and colors. Honestly the first that attracted me was how ridiculous they looked. A rubbery holey shoe that comes in any color ...
Pros: fantastic comfort, great colors, my shoe of first choice for everything! Cons: Beach crocs can be harder to size correctly.
Wanted to buy a pair after seeing them at the beach at Port Aransas Tx. My husband, sister, and a friend had just bought some. Couldn't find the right size - beach croc sizes don't work for me. Beach crocs come in 6-7,8-9,10-11,12-13. I needed a 10. ...
Pros: Comfortable, but not worth the risk. Cons: Dangerous on various surfaces can fall without warning, can't control. Don't wear in wet weather.
I fell in love with crocs, had several pairs, bought a pair for my adult daughter when she was pregnant, recommended them to other friends and family. They bought them on my recommendation. I bought the originals, not the knock offs. I didn't want to ...
Pros: Ugly..but who cares!! Cons: Can't think of a single one.
I know this sounds crazy but I just bought my third pair of Crocs Beach shoes. I don't expect to got to the beach anytime soon but here in Florida they seem appropriate for everyday wear. Now with three pair I'm pretty well covered coordinating color. ...
Pros: Comfort, colors..... Cons: Be careful about some surfaces...
I had more than 10 pairs of Crocs. I wore them to work every day. They were the most comfortable shoe i've ever worn. My mistake was that i also wore them on walks, and twice in the past 2 weeks i fell flat on my face wearing my black pair of crocs. I have never fallen like this in my life. I don't know if it's the stickiness of the shoe or the looseness of the shoe around my foot, but in an instant i was on the ground. My knee is swollen to three times it's size. My hands are scraped, my legs are swollen. I have no medical problems (until now). Be very very careful walking in these shoes. This has only happened to me on cement surfaces, not asphalt, not sure if this means anything. When we got home after this last walk, my husband angrily threw out all my Crocs. I loved them, but there is something dangerous about them on some surfaces.
Not as good as the Highland by fmcfish ,Jul 21 '06
Pros: Still a decent shoe Cons: Not as nice as the Highland
I've been a Crocs fan since they started but as the company has expanded quickly I think their quality has degraded a bit. The original closed shoe model, the Highland, is made in Canada. It has a more comfortable and "softer" feel. They are discontinuing that model and have replaced it with the "Aspen". I've worn both and the Aspen is stiffer, less springy, and less comfortable. I think the Aspen is made overseas somewhere and just doesn't seem as nice. If you can still get a Highland, I would choose that over the Aspen for a closed clog. Unfortunately, when companies grow too quickly, their quality often suffers.
The greatest shoe ever made for people on their feet. I will NOT wear anything else for work. This was my first Aspen and I love them as well as the ones with vent holes. They last and last. I have NEVER had any problems with any of the styles.
