Pros: Clean, good use of space, quiet, good location, nice staff Cons: No vending on every floor

Nice hotel, good experience
by savvy_patron ,Oct 03 '09
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and reliable staff, hotel is close to services. Cons: I cannot think of one.
I booked several months in advance for an overnight stay and was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the details were carried out.
At sign in, the hotel waived the charge for adding a guest to my reservation and staff also volunteered to find a room with separate beds. That this permitted me to split costs and save money on my trip was a bonus.
As travelers with certain dietary needs, we were promptly given the name and number of a suitable food establishment upon our request. This took place while still signing in.
The room was enjoyable: modern and charming, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was quiet because we were on an upper floor. We also enjoyed a lovely view.
As someone who relies on Internet service, I could say that the Internet fee was expensive at $14.95 a day (as of December 2007). Well, that is the price we pay for the luxury of having instant access to the world. No complaint here.
The stay at New York City was the beginning of international travel. The staff and accommodations made the entire travel experience a very positive one. I would definitely stay at the Crown Plaza UN in the future.
