Cuisinart GR-2 Indoor Grill

Pros: Griddler Express makes great grill marks on your Panini
Cons: Grill plates not removable, creating cleaning hassle

I purchased the Cuisinart Griddler Express GR-2 at a Linens-n-Things last year when the Panini fad was in full swing. Paninis were selling like hotcakes everywhere, and the toasty, ridged sandwiches seemed like a tasty treat for my hungry diners ...

Pros: Works well, cooks quickly, and has adjustable heat. Very Attractive.
Cons: Difficult to clean. Non-stick surface isn't quite as non-stick as you would hope.

The previous reviewer was 100% on on all things said. This unit cooks meats quite well, and can make some great Panninis. Cleaning it is quite laborious, helped greatly by coating it in cooking spray. I'm not concerned about the added fats from the spray, but beware if you are.
