Pros: Produces a consistently smooth and black cup of coffee when directions are followed Cons: Maintenance and pouring require a little getting used to.
I've heard a lot of people complaining about how the coffee from this machine is weak. I guess they like burned, gritty coffee which one can pull off with a Mr. Coffee Maker. As far as daily maintenance goes, it isn't a 5 minute job, but it isn't ...

Pros: Grinds the beans and brews the coffee into a thermal pot.
Not messy. Cons: Can't get my hand in the pot to clean.
Can't change the grinder setting.
I bought this machine because it is the only one I have found that has a built in grinder and brews coffee into a thermal carafe. Previously, I was using a Capresso burr grinder that spewed coffee grounds all over my kitchen counter and a ...

Pros: Simple controls, great tasting coffee, good looking Cons: Bit pricey, 10 cup carafe - I want 12 cups!!
I had my eye on this coffee maker for awhile, but after reading some of the horrible reviews on this site, I never bought one. Lo and behold, my wife got it for me for Christmas - much to my delight, but also with trepidation. I can honestly say that ...

Pros: Excellent coffee, looks great on counter, cleanup no biggie for me at least. Cons: Coffee carafe didn't hold coffee very hot, but a little experimenting solved problem (see review)
I visited my local Williams-Sonoma store recently and saw this machine on display. The staff was patient with me as I proceeded to open it up, inspect the parts (checking for quality and ease of use and cleaning), and reading the user manual. I've had ...

Pros: Excellent coffee Cons: Gold filter lets grounds through.
Based on reviews I read here at epinions.com regarding other models of Cuisinart coffee makers, I decided to give this one a try. My last coffee maker was a thermal carafe, so I knew I wanted that feature. Honestly, I can't understand why this coffee...

Pros: Looks nice, handy timer. Cons: Drips when you pour, can't reheat, difficult to clean, doesn't seem worth the price.
When my husband and I bought our new house, we did as many people do, and bought a lot of new stuff to go in it. The Cuisinart Grind and Brew was one of them. I must say, it's a little disappointing. First of all, the parts are a little difficult to ...

Pros: As good as it gets. Cons: Is $150 really too pricey for this dashing looking machine?
Owning a perfectly good coffee maker and grinder made it difficult to justify buying this product, particularly after reading some of the negative reviews. I finally decided to indulge myself since I like gee-gaws and this looks neat. One of the ...

Pros: Sleek design, great coffee, easy to use Cons: a pain to clean, tends to overflow and leak, too many parts
This was a gift, and I value it a lot. Though, I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself otherwise. It is a bit more then I need. First, the coffee maker is a really nice looking device. With the stainless steel casing and the sleek design. It ...

Pros: Design, convenience, space-saving, coffee taste, looks. Cons: Cleaning time/messyness.
I sometimes wonder at the people on here; whether they're a little lazy, over-expectant, or just not used to the concept behind an "all in one" design, which is more of a jack of all trades idea than a "specialist" one. I've had the older version of ...

Pros: 80's excess show room quality
great fantastic tasting coffee (for real)
Cons: grinder is loud but tolerant, A-lot to clean up "AFTER EACH USE."
I purchased my DGB-600BC, from an on-line store on ebay, and with shipping it came to 128.00 plus shipping. I came to Epinions to read and also to confirm that I got the best price (wich I did) but after reading all the reviews about leaks, loud soun ...

Pros: Great tasting coffee Cons: More complicated then it needs to be.
If everybody who liked coffee could agree on one design, I doubt that this would be it. Pretty on the outside. Well built, but overall... a bit harder to deal with then what an average person would be looking for. Granted the coffee is great and if ...

Pros: Good coffee, thermal carafe keeps coffee warm without burning it, looks great on counter. Cons: Expensive, more parts to clean.
Like others submitting reviews, I received the DGB-600BC as a gift, then read the reviews to see if my gift horse needed dental work :) I've been using this unit for a couple of weeks now, and I can say, without reservations, that I love the machine. ...

Pros: Looks good on the kitchen counter, coffee tastes ok. Cons: Very poor design, loud rotary grinder, difficult cleanup.
We bought the Cuisinart DGB-600 (white) in 2005 to replace a Capresso CoffeeTEAM model that had stopped grinding after 5 years of reliable service. Now, we wish we had repaired or replaced the Capresso instead of buying the Cuisinart and in fact we ...

Pros: Looks good. Keeps coffee hot. Timer is nice. Cons: Grinder is useless, making weak coffee; hard to clean; overpriced for poor functionality.
We registered for this coffee maker and received it as a wedding gift. We love coffee and usually buy whole beans and grind them before brewing, so this seemed like a great combination - the machine grinds the beans for you just before brewing, has a ...

Pros: Built-in grinder; convenience to make very good coffee; thermal carafe; water filter. Cons: Inconvenient to clean; noisy grinder; tall profile
I purchased a Refurbished Grind & Brew Coffeemaker with a stainless steel finish from a leading Internet retailer for under $60. At that price, the machine represents an excellent value. This machine features a programmable timer, and built-in ...
