Pros: Makes a hot cup of coffee.
Cons: No indicator to show coffee level.
No adjustment for coffee strength.
Summary: I was looking for a Melitta 12 cup percolator, but couldn't find one in any of our stores. So, I settled for the Cuisinart 12 cup, which I thought was a better name brand than the Farberware electric percolators that were readily available. I

Pros: Graduated coffee basket, small holes in basket, detachable base.
Cons: Rust forms on a nut inside the pot
Summary: At first this unit seemed great. It has several features we liked, graduations on the side of the coffee basket and the detachable base to name a few. This coffee maker was only a few months old when I noticed some rust on the large nut on the bottom
