Cuisinart PSC-400 4-Quart Slow Cooker

Pros: Cooks great. Stylish looking. Retractable cord. Easy to clean.
Cons: Fake chrome finish on handles bubbles and peels off. No warranty on this.

Cooks great and even looks good, although certain components are very cheaply made i.e. the fake chrome handles and fake chrome knob on the glass lid. In my case, after just 2 uses, the chrome started bubbling and peeling. As I discovered, Cuisinart deems this to be a cosmetic flaw in the product and therefore this defect is not covered under warranty, even though my item is less than 2 months old. Cuisinart has a highly offensive hands-off attitude towards their own product integrity. I real disappointment in quality, especially seeing as this is not at the cheap end of the spectrum.
