Pros: Excellent addition for your voice-recognition software. Works wonders with Skype and other VoIP services. Cons: Sketchy beginning with mic issues, but Windows Update fixed everything. Works great since.

Pros: Fantastic sounding headphones. Clean sound. Cons: Terrible microphone quality. Most any $8 mic would do better.

Choices seem slim

Pros: Fit is comfortable. Sound is good. Cons: Microphone simply would not perform for me. YMMV.
I use a USB headset strictly for VoIP. My Logitech headset broke after hard use and I wanted a change, so tried this one. Since I was in a hurry, I was limited to what my local supply/computer stores had in stock, which were the same Logitech of this Cyber Acoustics model.
Sound is great. Microphone is horrible. I made half a dozen test calls: cell phones, land lines, other VoIP phones, and everyone reported that they could barely hear me. I boosted every volume control I could find. I spent half a day downloading the Windows update that is supposed to fix this issue. It may indeed work for you, but did nothing at all for my system.
Before the day was out, I had returned this headset and bought the tried-and-true (but uncomfortable) Logitech.
