We had a Capresso espresso machine for a long time and loved having espresso but hated the machine. It was messy and very inconsistent. My husband insisted we buy one of those "pod" espresso machines we saw at Williams Sonoma. I was dead set against it - I figured it could not make decent espresso. How wrong I was. This thing is much better than our old machine. It makes consistently perfect espresso with beautiful crema every time! And no clean up. No grounds. No measuring. Love it. I have a double espresso every morning and he has a Lungo. It also froths milk perfectly for lattes and cappuccino. Very easy. So glad we bought this.

I waffled on this one for awhile. $400 is a lot of money for a coffee machine. I haven't regretted it for an instant since I bought it several months ago.

The coffee is great - I like the Ristretto and Arpeggio blends especially. Dark, syrupy palette-pleasing crema. I had to add some sticky pads on the base plate to keep my cups from vibrating out from under the dispenser nozzle, but I have no complaints about the machine in any other regard. Nestle is *fast* on shipping the capsules - brings back memories of *real* customer service. +++ Highly recommend +++

I have owned this machine for 5 years and have had to go through three machines for the same problem...If we don't use the machine for more than a month or two, the electrical circuit dies and the unit does not even power on. We had to send the machine in to Nespresso. The first two times, they replaced it. The third time, it was out of warranty so they asked for $150 to replace it. If the same problem occurs with the same machine three times, each requiring replacement, something is wrong with that product design. I'd rather spend more and get a machine that is built to last more than 2 years. I would not recommend buying Nespresso for this reason.
