Pros: Long battery life, easy navigation, superior sound quality. Cons: Slight hiss sound, video is just average.
Since losing my Iriver T30, I was in search for a new flash mp3 player that has more than 1 GB capacity and can also play videos. I heard about Meizu from another website and for the price and capacity, I though it would be a good buy. I am happy to ...

Pros: Reasonable price, packed with features, great sound quality, bright LCD Screen, long playtime Cons: Sensitive menu slider, poor video playback

Loving my Meizu
by jcrossley ,Feb 26 '08
Pros: Great sound, supports lots of codecs, great price, integrates well with Linux Cons: Navigation could be better, and videos are a little iffy.
I can't say enough good things about this thing. The main reason I bought it is because I wanted an MP3 player that would work with Linux. More importantly, it needed to play ogg and flac files as well as mp3 with no DRM.
This thing filled the bill and more. And the sound quality is amazing, with a surprising number of sound effects to enhance the experience even more.
I take it everywhere. The battery life is excellent.
As far as negatives, the navigation is a little awkward, but that's a very minor complaint. And I've had trouble getting the audio sync'd to the video when watching videos, but I don't do that very often.
