Cons: It's slow, glitchy and not very easy to use.

Not impressed by this unit. First one installed was defective. Second one works, but it's response time to the remote is slow as can be. Scrolling down through channels is painful. Typing in channel numbers is slow. The interface is not particularly easy ...

I'm surprised the other review on this unit even gave it two stars!  The processor in the box must be at least half what is required for it to do its basic functions.  You can often hang the unit in a "gray screen."  It's so slow to process IR commands it often ends up grouping them, resulting in weird circumstances like forwarding to the end of programming, which is a useless and frustrating feature in and of itself.  My previous DirectTV unit (Sony UltimateTV)  is close to a decade older, but does circles around what this unit.  Truly a step backwards for satellite television
