Pros: Plays VHS and DVD. Records VHS to DVD and vise versa.
Cons: Unit, functions, and playback freezes, and can't stop timed recording on VHS.

Pros: Price,good for dubbing VHS to DVD.
Cons: Noisy, bulky, power issues

This machine is noisy. Also, if I turn it off, it often will not turn back on. So, we leave it on! It is very convenient for dubbing old VHS to DVD. Not as efficient as a DVD recorder off TV. VCR part is a better recorder for TV.
But it was in our price range and is serving us for the time being.

I never got past "Hi Wait" on the front panel display. I am a patient person but after an hour, I
was still waiting. I Did the "push and hold for 5 seconds" on the buttons they said (DVD/VCR) Did the same to all of the buttons...nothing. I blame no one but myself. Never again....Daewoo
