Daewoo DV-RS05 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

Pros: Works well as a player of both VHS tapes and DVDs.
Cons: Could not play DVD that I created on any other player.

I purchased this to convert my VHS tapes to DVDs but I had to return it. It worked well as a player for both DVD's and VHS tapes. The conversion process was pretty straightforward as well even thought there is no way to speed up the process and finalization takes 6 minutes. However when I took the DVD+R that I created (and finalized) I couldn't play it on any of the other DVD players I have or my 2 computers. Basically I created a DVD that I could only play on that recorder. Not very useful as a recorder and you can get a combo VCR/DVD player for much cheaper.
