Pros: Good taste, contains 3 active cultures Cons: Cost, needs to be stirred before eating
I started buying Activia yogurt over a year ago, when his sister suggested it to me. Both my husband and his sister have a medical condition called Diverticulosis, and both have suffered with painful flare ups. She told me that her Dr. recommended ...

Pros: Good flavor, decent product. Cons: The initial appearance always seems watery or even curdled.
I have been eating Dannon Activia yogurt off and on for quite a while. I enjoy the multi-packs that I can get in the warehouse club and the great prices buying this way offer me. The flavor is nothing tremendous to write about and the ...

Pros: Whole chunks of fruit, affordably priced, exceptional health benefits. Cons: I only wish they had ALL the flavors in "light".
I was skeptical of Activia's claims when it first came out on the market. Not only that, but the calories were too high. (I'd become accustomed to the 60 per cup in Dannon Light N' Fit). So, I put it off for awhile. BUT, then I found coupons in the ...

A lot of hype, average taste.

Pros: Doesn't taste horrible Cons: One of the most expensive yogurts available
I tried this yogurt because I found a coupon on the internet for a free sample pack. When opening the first one, it looked watery, like something had settled on the top of it. I mixed it up, and tried it anyway. It tasted about the same as any store brand of strawberry yogurt. The supposed probiotic benefits I believe are exaggerated. Bifidus Regularis is one of thousands of probiotic cultures, and it's effects are very limited. All yogurt contains active cultures, and Activia's "benefits" are not worth the extra price.

This stuff should be illegal or include a stern warning

Pros: tastes like regular yogurt Cons: Offends friends enemies and innocent bystanders
I got a couple packs of this activia from a friend. She claimed she was going on a low carb diet. I hate to see anything thrown away. But the remainder of these now reside in the trash can!
From the constant uncontrollable gas, (worst smell I or any innocent bystanders ever encountered), to the consistency of your stool like superglue, (that sticks mostly to you), and the constant seepage. This was the worst 3 weeks of my life! And even affected my poor nephew who mistook one of these nuclear waste containers for normal yogurt and almost got run out of school. My stool is just getting back some semblence of normality after 3 weeks.
If you have a stool problem, just take Metamucel, its simpler, it works, and without all of these offensive side effects.
