Pros: Ease of use. Easy cleanup. Faster baking. Jucier roasts. Crispy pizza crust, chicken. Cons: A bit pricey. I'd buy it again I like how it does it's job.
I had researched convection ovens until I got myself confused. However, I found myself always coming back to the Delonghi AR690 Model. For me it is just the right size for my small counter space. It comes with: 2 convenient racks that can both be ...
Pros: Broiler melts cheese and browns food evenly, controls easy to use. Cons: Racks fit too snuggly in the slots making them difficult to slide in and out.
I bought the DeLonghi Retro Convection Oven AR690 to supplement oven space since I only have one kitchen oven, not to use as a toaster. The toaster function works well for a crowd since six slices can be done at the same time, but too much hassle for...
Pros: looks, illuminated inside while on, large size, easy to clean Cons: Useless as a bread toaster, stops working after a couple years
I typically research everything I buy, however, I was drawn to this unit because of the cool retro styling. I figured the DeLonghi name was reputable enough where it didn't warrant hours of research. I was first impressed by the light that stays on ...
Pros: fast, healthy cooking, Beautiful
Cons: the door opens it "sounds" a little like a tin door.
The DeLonghi Retro Convection Oven AR690 is wonderful looking. The design is very Deco. It looks like it should be in a kitchen in Italy. Even the settings, you have to turn it on and off (rather than it turning on automatically when you chose the...
Not a very good value for the money by theweinholds ,Oct 16 '04
Pros: Looks nice, Bakes well Cons: Does not toast evenly and just died after about a year
We bought this toaster oven based on appearance and claim of quality from the manufacturer when we upgrade our kitchen to all stainless, retro appearance appliances. I believe we spent about $100 or so on the appliance and it did not last much more than a year with moderate to low use. Unfortunately it only had a 12 month warranty! Never again Delonghi!
Pros: It worked well for about a year Cons: It didn't last! my 29.99 B&D lasted 7 years! and I decided to replace it.
Total piece of CRAP!
This is the 2nd Delonghi Toaster oven I have purchased. 1st one died about 1 1/2 years of service, I replaced it with this hunk of JUNK. BIG mistake! I used it about 1 1/2 years the heating elements warped on each of the units. The knobs on the retro unit stopped working, then it decided to drop dead one day. WILL NEVER BUY DELONGHI AGAIN.
