Right, here's the deal. At an unspecified point last week I was wondering around at work looking through the games to find one worth renting. One in particular stood out with an interesting cover, it was called Dead To Rights. Now I hadn't heard ...
Pros: Fun gameplay, nice graphics, interesting mini-games, Disarms, and Shadow: your faithful companion Cons: Weak camera system, cliche characters
This would be his game. Dead To Rights has everything a typical Hollywood action movie should have, but yet, it’s a game! You get to dictate movement, progression, and gunplay while trying to solve two mysteries and participating in vital...
Pros: Hong-Kong action, good graphics, disarms, Bullet-Time, fairly easy controls Cons: Difficult camera angles, poor targeting with multiple enemies, can be very difficult
Do you like movies with names like John Woo in the credits... Do you wish to be Chow Yun Fat jumping through the air with two .45s pumping lead in all kinds of directions while dodging a hail of enemy fire in slow motion. Did you think Max Payne was...
Pros: Packed with action along with nice additions such as disarms and Shadow your dog Cons: Not that great looking and lacks much needed extras
After much delays and console transfers, Dead to Rights finally appears on Microsoft's XBOX. While it's not exclusive, it is the first to appear on a video game console. To the average gamer, this game will come off as a Max Payne knock off. Well, I...
Pros: Good shoot 'em up gameplay... Cons: ...poisoned by a crippling hand-to-hand system.
I really, really wanted to like this game. I swear. It had some great qualities; at first I was a bit irked by the obvious Max Payne ripoff, but was intrigued by the new devices brought to the gameplay. I hate to say it, but in the end, this game just ...
Pros: Intense action, awesome disarms, good voice overs. Cons: Sub-par graphics, not much skill required, 10 or less hours to complete.
Introduction Dead to Rights was an overall fun game to play. I liked the shooting system, the disarms, and intense game play. This shooter comes up short, however, because the missions are repetitive, there isn't much skill to the game, and the ...
Pros: Fast paced, good controls, fun time Cons: it's really hard
Holy crap. While this game is treated by many as a Max Payne rip off, it takes itself a lot more seriously, it is not as noir-y, and it has no neat comic book sections. Otherwise, the only differences are, DTR has mini-games and a dog.
Pros: Good graphics, Bullet-Time, Nice Gameplay Options Cons: Some blurry textures, controls can be annoying, boring levels
When I rented this game, I wasn't expecting much at all due to the fact there have been so many rip-offs for the Bullet Time gimmick and some have been good (Max Payne) and some haven't(Blinx has a feature like this sort of). When I got home I started pla ...
Pros: Variety of disarms, challenging, addicting, slow-motion, and of coarse; shadow. Cons: Some pointless mini-games, cheap storyline, and not being able to strafe.
The game play is amazing. You get to dive in slow motion, use oponites as human shields, and do disarms. But there is a downside. The story is kinda cheap. It's kind of like one of those old detective shows that cartoons are always mocking out, and...
Great game for Low Price by johnlynch4731 ,Dec 22 '03
Pros: Nice controls OK graphics, good hong kong like fightng moves, mini games Cons: No multiplayer, a little too hard at times
If you are looking for a cheap first person shooter you should go out and get this game. Even though it's only one player, but it can still be fun to take turns if you have somebody else over. If you are new Xbox you might want to get a little bit more simpler game, but if you've had Xbox GO GET IT!
Pros: Lots of stratergy to used towards these levels. Cons: targeting can be bugged when there is multible enemies, camera is bad at times.
Complete different tasks like defuse a bomb, if doesn't sound bad enough, a level where you have to defuse a bomb in the DARK !!! You have a dog when you kill some many people you can summon the dog to kill a guy. A few weapons, some fighting sequences like fighting a big bosses (to give you an idea about the game).
There are parts in the game where you need to operate machinery, you can press a button to go into slow motion (Matrix speed) looks slow but actually very fast, like Max Payne.
This game can very difficult at times, not recommended for those who have a low patience level.
