I travel extensively by car for work, and trying to find a local radio station is a hassle, so I decided to go the XM route. At the time, the Skyfi2 was the nicest/high end radio that XM offered, so I got it. On initial inspection, this thing is BIG. ...

Cons: You're on your own if something goes wrong. You'll just have to live with it

The unit itself is okay. I've used both Delphi for XM Radio and the Sirius house brand for Sirius and they both sound good. The display and operation ease is a bit better for the Sirius. I found that in comparison to my Sirius, the sound was quite good and it snapped in and out of the car and boombox with ease.
However, one of the buttons was not responding as it should and as it was under warranty, I decided to call technical support.
The main problem you'll face is if something goes wrong with not only this but with any Delphi unit. A quick glance at their website and you'll see they're in bankruptcy. Although they make all sorts of reassurances to the consumer, this very definitely reflects in their technical support department where they rarely answer the phone.
When I finally got to talk with someone, they asked that I return the faulty Delphi unit. Then, to my surprise, THE SAME DEFECTIVE UNIT WAS RETURNED TWO WEEKS LATER, in the same packaging, problem button not addressed at all, with nary an explanation.
In other words, your Delphi warranty is a joke. Be prepared!
