We have this crib for 2nd son. One night we put him into bed and left the room. after a little bit we heard high pitched screaming. We went in there and the bottom had fallen out of the crib!

I have filed a report with C.P.S.C. and they are further looking into it. I believe what happened is to put the mattress support in all you do is ling up the pegs with the slots and they drop in. Well if they drop in easily it would reason that they can also pop out.

I believe that our toddler was playing under the crib and may have pushed up against the bottom of the bed. Seeming how there is no way for the pegs to lock into the holes he must have pushed them up and out enough that when we put our baby in it the weight made them fall out the rest of the way.

We found him stuck between the bottom of the end railing and the mattress.

Pros: It's convertible.
Cons: I can't find the rails to use it as a full size bed.

I love this crib, but I cannot find the rails to use it with a full size bed. We found that when using it as a daybed, it is best to just take off the front instead of the back as they suggest. We've tried it both ways, but it is more substantial when leaving the tall back on.

Same thing happened to me as did to lydia667. I have 2 year old twin boys and they were playing underneath it and the bottom fell right out. Neither of them were hurt thankfully, but what if one of them were inside it, sleeping. I also contacted the C.P.S.C. and they called me back the same day and are coming to my home to take pictures of the crib and investigate. I loved this crib for my son. My parents purchased this for me about 4 years ago for my son. It is a very solid crib and can really hold the weight of an adult when it was converted into a love seat. Only down part I have is now I have been trying to get replacement parts for the past three weeks (since I am expecting in three weeks) and the company is basically making me go through all sorts of hoops to do so ( even though I gave them the name and model number, they asked for pictures to be sent).

Pros: easy to move,good quality
Cons: not too safe when converted into a toddler bed

I purchased this crib 3 yrs ago for my son and I absolutely love it. I have had no problems. Now I have converted it into a toddler bed, the only thing is there is no rail on the side so my son can easily fall out does anyone know of anything that can be used or if there are any small rails that are made for this bed? I have looked for something but cannot find anything that can be used correctly. Any ideas

Thank God there is No injury to report. But, I found crib to be unsafe and could pose as an entrapment hazard to infants. The railing had become separated at the bottom of left side of railing. Also noticed the bolts connecting the top corners of the crib have come loose causing a separation and could pinch or even break little fingers that may get in between separation. Also the bottom has fallen out. I have discontinued use.

Pros: Didn't have to buy a toddler bed.

My first impression of this bed was that it was a great investment for my son, solid and sturdy, to last most of his life. The company has no help with finding rails. They
said to "call furniture stores" none of which have any idea either.
