Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Poorly designed depth stop
The Delta 11-950 is one of four drill presses in my wood shop. It runs very quietly, takes up a minimal amount of space, and is very good when it comes to drilling tiny holes in smaller work pieces.
I recently picked up 11-900 which is similar 8" model for $85 canadian. my workshop is setup in a basement of our home & I don't have lot of space. so I needed a small benchtop model to tide me over till I manage to build bigger outbuilding for workshop...
Pros: This is a good small drill press and extending it's height greatly increases its usefulness. Cons: The 11-950 lacks a table height crank. A small hydraulic jack gives more precise control.
