Works good if you don't want to have a dehydrator last a couple years. I used mine constantly for the first year...randomly the second...pulled it out the third year and the motor was all burned up! I could never get fruit leather to work either. Would not dry consistently.

The three words that best describe this food dehydrator. I was so excited to get it, but have been very disappointed! The first year I used it twice...the first time it worked moderately well, but took FOREVER! The second time I used it, I tried the technique the manual described to speed up the process. Some fruits were scorched and they all had a horrible taste the only way I can describe it is "mechanical". The third time I used it, it just STOPPED working after being on for 1 hour!!! My money and fruit down the drain...the company service center didn't seem to care and as far as Target giving any sort of a refund is out of the question. I wouldn't recommend this dehydrator to anyone! By something else, anything else, and it'll probably work better than this one!
